• Don't Let Mariott Swindle New Yorkers
Times Square's Marriott Marquis hotel sits on prime real estate in the heart of the city. But New Yorkers are on the hook for an unprecedented sweetheart deal worth more than $300 million. And that's the last thing hard working families in the city need, especially in these difficult times. Our city is supposed to work for all New Yorkers, not just the wealthy and well connected. We've seen one too many handouts for the rich. Let's get our priorities straight and focus our resources on getting New Yorkers back to work and rebuilding from the devastation of Hurricane Sandy.

  • Mutilation, murder, rape ALL on TV (and Movies); where will it end?
We worry about violence in our country and across the world. Why can't we believe we can be inadvertantly causing it when Mutilation, Murder and Rape are all commonplace in our entertainment at any time of day. Can't we protect ourselves and our children's future?

  • Senator Feinstein: Hold a Public Hearing on CIA Drone Strikes
The Senate Intelligence Committee has never held a public hearing on CIA drone strikes. There are basic facts about the policy the public needs to know to make an informed judgment. Is it true, as the New York Times has reported based on interviews with U.S. officials, that the CIA is counting every "military-age male" killed by a drone strikes as a "militant"? What does this mean for the claim that civilian casualties have been "rare"? If civilian casualties have not been "rare," the public needs to know that. A recent UNC study indicated that public support for military action depends as much on the risk of harm to innocent civilians as it does on the risk of harm to U.S. soldiers.

  • Honor Pigs in the USA!!!
Pigs are hard working animals. It is NOT justice to kill pigs for the meat, although you are allowed too. Would you like to be a pig? Just thank the world you are not a pig but don't you feel sorry for those high dreaming pigs, they could do something amazing with their life but instead we kill them for the meat, Don't you think we should at least honor the Pigs? Pigs kind of help us stay alive by giving us their life so we can live a happy one. Pigs deserve at least one free day without death. There is already a national pig day but the one that exsists is only celebrated in the Mid-West. Together we can start a petition and honor pigs for all they do for us, Every little signature counts!

  • Make euthanasia, heartstick and gassing illegal
Millions of healthy pets are turned in to shelters yearly. Shelters should be forced to adopt these healthy animals instead of killing them. Fines should be imposed on those who surrender there pets and put on a list to not allowed to adopt again. There is no reason why these helpless dogs and cats that are healthy should be put down. Euthanasia should only be used if the quality of life is poor.

  • Save Our Post Office Kentucky
Our goal is to save the U.S. Postal Service from drastic cuts in service. We want the postal service to cease closing mail processing plants. We want the postal service to continue 6 day delivery and we want the postal service to stop closing post offices and cutting retail operating hours. Our goal is to see the dramatic pre payments into retirement accounts to stop and be returned to the postal service. We are proud of our postal network in Kentucky and want to keep it the way it is.
