Our local primary school received a threatening telephone call the week after the massacre that took place at Sandy Hook school in Newton. My 5 year old granddaughter is a student at our Dyersburg Primary School and I was pleased with the professionalism, care and concern from all our First Responders along with the care and professionalism by the Administration and all employees of the DPS. Our Governor and state legislators want armed guards and/or staff in our schools and I believe that's a bad idea.

I treated MD Health Plan patients in West Hartford Ct in 1998 when Mr Beck shot several people in the State Lotto Office. The patient was treated by a psychiatrist who had an office down the hall from me. Mr. Beck might have been my patient.
