Honor seating reservations for families traveling with young childrenA month ago I traveled with my family to visit my parents over the holidays. As we had done in the past, we traveled with American Airlines. We had a horrible experience with some of AA's employees, but during the experience found out that even though we work hard trying to find reservations where we can sit together with our young children (we have 3 year old twins), American Airlines does not guarantee seating reservation and will most likely separate parties (regardless of the age of the children). If that is the case, I do not understand why they continue with the farse of making you chose flights where you can find seats together. I wrote a letter to a number of officials in American and am still waiting for an explanation of what is driving this. In the meantime, I do believe that as a mother, I should have the right to get what I pay for and be allowed to sit with my children during a flight (regardless of the class I am traveling in)4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Marie Yunis

MCPS Administration PetitionDr. Alexander Apostle has recently been offered and accepted a 13% pay raise, causing his salary to be increased to $200,000. As students who have been attending schools within the MCPS boundaries, we believe that Dr. Alexander Apostle does not deserve and should reject the raise. We need to see immediate change within the Missoula School Board and Toni Rehbein's actions concerning the Education Budget. If this does not happen, we ask the Missoula community to see it through that Toni Rehbein does not become reelected to the school board, in May. This includes all members of the School Board not serving in the best interest of the students of Missoula.2,008 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Yetta Stein

Allow January Admits and Transfer Students to Pledge at Hamilton CollegeIt has recently come to our attention that the administration has rescinded the ability for January admits and transfers to pledge in their first semester at Hamilton College. January admits and transfers not only make up a large percentage of Hamilton's Greek Life, but are valued members of our societies. Please sign this petition if you are in favor of reversing the administration's policy change and believe January admits and transfers should have the right to pledge a fraternity or sorority with their classmates. The policy: "IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT JANUARY ADMITS: Keeping in line with our policy for other new students, pledging for new students entering in January (including transfers) cannot take place during their first semester. Yes, this is a change that now makes our policy consistent for all first-year students. Yes, because we have spring pledging it means that new Jans and Transfers will need to wait until their sophomore year (or third semester) to pledge. I hope you'll all agree that getting these students acclimated to their new curriculum and community is most important, and we should give them the appropriate amount of time to do that."333 of 400 SignaturesCreated by McKenzie R.
