A month ago I traveled with my family to visit my parents over the holidays. As we had done in the past, we traveled with American Airlines. We had a horrible experience with some of AA's employees, but during the experience found out that even though we work hard trying to find reservations where we can sit together with our young children (we have 3 year old twins), American Airlines does not guarantee seating reservation and will most likely separate parties (regardless of the age of the children). If that is the case, I do not understand why they continue with the farse of making you chose flights where you can find seats together. I wrote a letter to a number of officials in American and am still waiting for an explanation of what is driving this. In the meantime, I do believe that as a mother, I should have the right to get what I pay for and be allowed to sit with my children during a flight (regardless of the class I am traveling in)

Dr. Alexander Apostle has recently been offered and accepted a 13% pay raise, causing his salary to be increased to $200,000. As students who have been attending schools within the MCPS boundaries, we believe that Dr. Alexander Apostle does not deserve and should reject the raise. We need to see immediate change within the Missoula School Board and Toni Rehbein's actions concerning the Education Budget. If this does not happen, we ask the Missoula community to see it through that Toni Rehbein does not become reelected to the school board, in May. This includes all members of the School Board not serving in the best interest of the students of Missoula.
