Quality science and technology are vital for a country's security and economy. Without them manufacturing lags behind, security is weakened, innovation is stifled, and the curiosity which forms the basis of good scientific research is wasted.

Everyone that I have talked with have voiced a disgust with both sides using negative ads to attack the other side. Both sides are using false and misleading statements against the other side when they should be "giving specific ideas and specific solutions for America's most pressing problems, like for the economy, for health care, for reducing our $15 trillion national debt, for ensuring long-term solvency of Social Security and Medicare."(AARP Bulletin) Also give us specific ideas and solutions for problems with the environment and energy.

I have seen a campaign of people challenging college students from voting in our town and it's clearly orchestrated by a devious group. I can only imagine the strategies in poor black or Hispanic areas.

We are petitioning to have the city of Las Vegas, Nevada to build a MAKE PEACE sculpture and make peace park as a NEW, powerful and positive image building effort, which is already taking place with Zappos & Burning Man Art projects in Las Vegas' new downtown. Considering the over 45 empty lots now available downtown, this project is a necessary next step in building a solid business community and live-able city. We need much more than 50 people to sign , 1000 or more signers are truly needed but I am unable to reset the number. Thank you, Mathew

We have seen multiple near miss accidents, running stop signs, or yield signs even red lights due to cell phone usage.

Because of the consistent False TV, radio, etc. advertizement of the candidates, the voter is really blind to who to vote for. A LARGE $$$$$ penalty should be given for any and all false advertizement. I'm frustrated with the lies.

Robert Pittenger is the Republican candidate for the 9th congressional district in North Carolina. He is a multi millionaire who refuses to publicly debate Jennifer Roberts, the 8 year Meclenburg County commissioner. She is open to work across the isle and get things done. the 9th district is mostly Republican but Pittenger would lose if debated. Poles show the two neck and neck.

I am broken hearted; at the callousness of our own government. What many consider; to be our "National Treasure"; the wild horse....is being Chased by Helicoptors, run into pens, overcrowded, run over, held in pens, hurt / or killed OR finally moved to pens; where known "Kill Buyers" purchase them and then they are taken to Mexico or Canada and slaughtered. The Bureau of Land Management is behind this. WE ARE LOSING THE VERY BREED; by the cruelest and sickest means. Horses have Families...they are used in therapies, many people love their horses. They carried us through so many aspects of our lives...wars, farming, moving,etc. The Wild Mustangs are a symbol of OUR own Freedom!!! Yet, we taxpayers are footing the bill; for these horrible decisions. Horrible Management. I ask to repeal the Burns Amendment and STOP capturing these Horses and the Burros.
