too many people will be affected by this law that do not drive & do not require a driving license,many of them are either invalid or poor or can only get out to vote if someone brings them to a polling booth,old people have enough to contend with trying to survive and this law is obviously political in nature and will deprive many thousands of their constituional rights .please join me in opposing this law by signing this petion.Matt Jeffery Sciota PA

My Petition is about getting builders regulated and licensed. I know that people will agree with this issue. So many homeowners are being ripped off by builders who build shoddy homes and get away with our hard earned cash. Politicians recieve big money toward their campaigns (take a look at my state, Texas and Governor Rick Perry is getting big money from Perry homes, other builders as well and he's protecting the builders and not the consumers when their home falls apart, its a shame. I know I went through it, stayed persistant and I won my case without an attorney but due to a gag order I can't name the company but I want stop until all builders in Texas are regulated and licensing.

Rachel Maddow is one of the smartest, articulate and perceptive political pundits in the U.S. media today. We all know she is a progressive, but she also has a pristine reputation for honesty and seeking both sides of every issue. Rachel Maddow should be selected to moderate or help moderate at least one of the presidential debates in 2012.

When prompted to update an app on my cell phone I am also prompted with the list of permissions that the app update mandates. Permissions that open my phone up to viruses, malicious intents, and possible manipulation of my contacts, etc.

This petition urges the president to establish an annually recognized National Day of Remembrance on October 28th, honoring the laudable restraint of past world leaders resulting in the peaceful resolution of the Cuban Missile Crisis 50 years ago. This day of remembrance is intended to encourage current global leaders to reject firmly and permanently the possibility of nuclear warfare, the consequences of which remain as devastating as they were in the height of the Cold War.

There are many people who work long hours and it is difficult with the long voting lines to exercise your right to vote. I propose a national paid holiday on national voting days every two years starting with this November. The issues facing our nation are important enough to warrant this action so that everyone's voice can be heard. If someone works in an essential service: firemen, hospitals etc. 4 hours should be granted.

The DoNot call list doesn't work. The FTC has no authority to stop the illegal use of the countries landline communication system. The local carriers have the technology to stop these marketing phonecalls, most of which are comming from overseas using the internet, but need congress to pass a law to enable them to implement a blocking system. Send this petition to your representitives to let them know that you are fedup with annoying and illegal phonecalls.

Keeping the Post office out of bankruptcy. 2/3 of the mail I receive doesn't pay first class rate. Most is mail I do NOT want.
