My husband worked and paid taxes for more than 20 yrs. He was let go about a year ago and still trying to find a job right now. His unemployment benefit was cut from 64 weeks to 32 weeks. He paid unemployment benefit for more than 20 yrs but they only give back 32 weeks back to him.

My petiton is about making a law to beable to sue those persons who tell a hurtful lie about a politcian.Edit tapes to make a person seem to say something other than what the person really meant and said.

Traffic cameras and other 'secret' cameras should be banned as unconstitutional under the Fourth Amendment! Law enforcement is treating them like a cash cow. Went to traffic school with 40to45 others. At $224 per person, they make about $10,000 per class and will call you the next day for a donation. These cameras make my driving less safe as my nerves are affected!

As there is a lack of study concerning the health effects of GMO food products such as sweet corn produced by biotech giant Monsanto. Consumers need to be aware of food products which have been genetically modified for full disclosure purposes. Similar to a surgeon general's warning on various products the statement should read something such as: "GMO - This product has been genetically modified, a lack of study makes it impossible to know whether there are associated health risks."

Mediacom cable is a cable company service that offers cable t.v., as well as internet and phone service. All of the services are always on the fritz and never working yet their rates keep increasing, and their technicians and those at the top of the company simply do not care. They are bleeding their customers dry and taking advantage of areas like Western Kentucky for example where the choice for ISP's is slim to none. I live in Western Kentucky and its either AT&T or Mediacom for the most part. This petition is to urge Mediacom to take the nescessary steps in order to give customers their moneys worth instead of taking us for granted.

Many members of my family are suffering from leaky gut syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, food allergies, and a growing inability to acquire truly organic food products because Monsanto and other BIG AG companies have too much influence on Congress members and FDA and the Dept. of Agriculture. Will you help me by asking Congress to require truly independent studies of the effects of GMO on animals and humans? Will you ask them to include independent studies that have already been done in Europe and resulted in banning of many GMO seeds, plants, and products?

It is abundantly clear and not worthy of debate anymore that FOX news is not a true News organization - although they occasionally do report real news this is a cover used to make the propaganda they spew hide among the news - we must stop treating them with the respect a news organization deserves - Democrats stop going on FOX - call it what it is - a propaganda channel.

To the PA Voter ID Law! This law discriminates against the poor and the displaced! Stop hurting people who are already hurting! Pennsylvania's Secretary of the Commonwealth Carole Aichele is in charge of the state's new voter ID law and she just admitted, "I don't know what the law says." Another local official testified in court that she was "anticipating a mess" on Election Day because of the new law.
