In the name of religion, the Boko Haram group in Nigeria have been carrying out incessant bombings of churches every sunday. Now it is bombing graduates engaged in national service. I have lost 15 friends and 6 relatives who live in the north to bomb blasts by this group.

Nancy Grace has badgered and bullied enough people she is the cause of at least 3 women committing suicide after her national bullying including a very close friend of mine (Toni Medrano). Nancy Grace is absolutely nothing more than entertainment because her thoughts and opinions hold no merit regarding the judicial system and peoples real lives should not be used as a form of entertainment without their consent. Because of her we now have 6 more innocent children without a mother, a mother without a daughter, sisters n brothers missing their sibling and a husband without a wife to help raise their children.. Not to mention all the family & friends who have not yet even had time to completely grieve the lost of Toni's son Adrian. Please help put a stop to this!! At a recent town hall, Congressman Joe Walsh said of my military service, "Now I’m running against a woman who, my God, that’s all she talks about. Our true heroes, it’s the last thing in the world they talk about." Now, I don't care what Joe Walsh says about me. I do care though what he says about our nation’s 23 million Veterans. They've served our country with honor and they deserve our respect. Moreover, at a time when so many of our brave service men and women are returning from war, it's irresponsible of Joe Walsh to try to silence Veterans by insinuating that you’re not a hero if you talk about your service to our country. Whether they're seeking civilian employment or struggling with PTSD, our Veterans need to know that it's OK to talk about their wartime experiences. Whole Foods sits on the Organic Standards Board which regulates what is allowed in USDA certified organic foods. Whole Foods time and time again votes with Big Food, companies like Kellogg and General Mills that own organic food lines, to allow non organic ingredients in certified organic foods. According to the New York Times, Whole Foods voted in favor of adding ammonium nonanoate, a herbicide, to organic foods. Partially because of Whole Foods, there are now 250 non organic ingredients allowed in organic food. Tell Whole Foods, one of the biggest players in organics, to stand up for real organic food like Eden does and stop aligning with Big Food to allow toxic substances in organic food that jepordize our health simply to maximize it's already huge profits.

Emancipation Proclamation Day Why have we not pushed for the day the Emancipation Proclamation (January 1, 1863) to become a national holiday? Every other nation that has gained their freedom have made that day a national day of celebration. We in America have July 4th has a national holiday because it was the day we became free from England's ternary, but yet we do not have January 1, 1863 as a national holiday. The day slaves became free. Lets let Congress and the President know that we want this day January 1st as a National Holiday (Parades and all) Showing that all Americans are free. free.
