Bill Cosby has been accused of sexual assault by dozens of women. He has admitted under oath to obtaining drugs with the purpose of having sex with women. Our intention is not to deface the mural, but to show that women are respected in our nation's capital by replacing it with one that celebrates women and their accomplishments.

Since its inception in 2008, Wisconsin's non-partisan Government Accountability Board (GAB) has done the job it was designed to do: maintain both the integrity of our state government and our elections. Yet, despite this overwhelming support, Wisconsin legislative majority leaders intend to "overhaul the GAB" in ways that include installing partisan appointees, and removing independent funding for investigations into political corruption.

I strongly believe that there is no place for hate and racism is politics. Shiv Sena has been openly spreading Hate Speech and violence against the Indian Muslims and the Pakistani citizens who are visiting India.

I do not have cable or TV; I rely on online and radio. There is way too much money in politics; buying ads should not be the only way to get someone's message out during campaigns. Open up the air waves.

We need supporters to contact the City Council including City Councilman Brian E. Lewis and Jim Hosfelt on the committee. They are listening right now carefully. They are terrific but the committee needs to hear what the public wants. You can message them your support or leave a message for all of Council at 736-7006. Say you support the Youth New Year's plan in the Dover Post. The time has come for us to reunite as a community. This is one strategy put forth by the Youth Advisory Council. It is not just a big party, but a way of engaging people with positive local groups that will expose people to drug and alcohol free activities all year long. We need to change the paradigm of young people and show them that family friendly events beat loser events which risk one getting into trouble. By relying on local people and activities, we not only keep costs low but provide a positive peer network that will engage people all year long. What a way to start the year, families being together, friends together in a positive way that will bring business downtown. We cannot rebuild our sense of community by accident. It takes a comprehensive strategy. The youth are an important part of it.

My best friend attends Newman School in Boston MA. She was very excited to dye THE TIPS of her hair blue because she loves the color and it's therapeutic. Newman won't let her. I know dying my hair is therapeutic and is a way for me to express myself. If kids are forced to wear uniforms there should not be rules against other self expression.

I am 76 years old, with many health issues, the cost of everything is skyrocketing, yet a retired person's pay remains static. What was once just enough, is no longer; the medical costs, prescriptions, and trips to doctors and hospitals are such that you sometimes chose between buying food or medication. Most of us have worked as long as we can. I worked 50 years, retiring at 70+ because I knew that retirement would mean a huge cut in income and a constant increase in medical expenses. Please do not take from those who can least afford to pay.
