Dear Mr President Obama Im starting this petition for animal abuse. I see plenty of animal abusers getting slapped on their hands with lil to no punishment. I believe there should be a harder punishment for this I mean aninals are as defenseless as our children. Plus these kill shelters break my heart as well. This should be stopped. And a pit bull should be properly evaluated before given his death sentence. I think even if its a child (like hazel graces abusers) they need to be punished and get physiciatric help to prevent this as well. There are so many defenseless animals getting abused. Also I think more money should be donated and designated for the care of the abused animals and restitution should be made from the abuser to pay for their care. Animal abuse. My heart strings have been pulled due to Hazel Grace and Kringle and many others. Animals should NOT be abused. If your going to abuse them dont get one.

Dominion believes that they are within their rights to trespass onto private property based on a Virginia state law. At any given time, a bunch of petroleum pirates can essentially impose on resident's property rights; and all they have to do is "let you know" that they intend to do so. The slippery slope fueled by greasy greed is almost scarier than the other dangers associated with fracking. This practice seems to all but eviscerate the 5th Amendment of the Bill of Rights, and could lead to a constitutional fractastrophe. We are calling on Governor Terry McAuliffe to sit down with property owners work together to scrap this law.

UPDATE: 4/29/15 VICTORY! On April 28th, the Florida House adjourned without taking up HB 4005, which means that guns on campus legislation has been defeated in Florida. The CFPB was created in the wake of the economic collapse with a clear mission: To protect American families from the predatory and unfair lending practices that contributed to the financial crisis. Recently, what will undoubtedly be one of the most environmentally hostile Congresses in history took office. Its first item of environmental business? Voting to mandate the approval of the Keystone XL pipeline, putting campaign contributors ahead of the American public and our environment. Don’t let them get away with this! Big polluters spent more than $721 million to get their cronies elected to Congress, and now they expect payback. The only way we can stop this destructive project is if everyone—including you—takes a stand. The Keystone XL pipeline would be disastrous, hurting communities, polluting our water and environment, and undermining our ability to stabilize climate change. If constructed, the pipeline would transport highly polluting Canadian tar sands crude to U.S. refineries on the Gulf of Mexico, where it would be processed and shipped overseas. Conservation groups, Native American tribes, farmers, and ranchers have opposed the project because it poses a threat to groundwater and surrounding lands. Despite this, Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell has made approving the Keystone project one of his very first priorities in 2015. The President just threatened to veto this ill-founded legislation but it’s critical that enough representatives register their opposition to show his veto can be upheld.
