• Help Stop Workplace Bullying
I was a victim of workplace bullying and suffered in many ways because of it. I was lucky and, with the help of my attorney, was able to stop my abuse. However, I still see it happening to too many Americans and I want to help make it stop!

  • Congress! We want the AUTOCYCLE!
The government should create a new vehicle class to allow the new vehicles being manufactured so they can be classified as green, travel in the carpool and hov lanes and not have to pay outrageous insurance premiums.

  • Amending the 13th Amendment
Private institutions are profiting from the free-to-low cost labor of people in prison. Prison was created for rehabilitating, not creating an economic bottom line for corporations. Slavery is inhumane and should not exist anywhere in the world.

  • Senate Commitee on Environment and Public Works: Conduct and fund an investigation into ongoing g...
In April of 2013, planes began flying over my northern California home, turning our blue sky into a white haze. As I began to research and connect with others, I learned that this aerosolized spraying is happening not only over all areas of the United States, but that it is happening in many other countries as well. I also learned that it has been happening for many years in some areas. Initially, the spraying we experienced here severely affected my health. It continues to cause breathing problems for my children and for me. I care about ALL of the children of this world and I believe they deserve better than what our government is doing. Solar Radiation Management (SRM) is a geoengineering technique being "proposed" by scientists to slow down global warming by dimming the sun. Clearly, however, it is out of the "proposed" stage and is already under full-scale implementation. SRM is not an answer to climate change. It will benefit fossil fuel companies that want to continue with business as usual, and it will benefit chemical companies and big pharmaceutical companies, but it is destructive to the health of people, animals, and the environment. And cooling the planet by dimming the sun in a haze of intentional pollution is shrouding the grave issue of ocean acidification. The children of this planet will inherit this mess and the health and environmental issues it creates. We can do better.

  • Ban Fox News in All Military Establishments and Federal Buildings
The KMPH FOX 26 News was outraged after an investigation reveals the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Fresno was caught blocking the "Fox News Channel" from a hospital waiting room. Let me remind Fox news and everyone that the Fresno VA Hospital is a military establishment not a civilian establishment and is regulated by military standards. All military personnel have taken the oath, and to abide by the oath which they were sworn in! The oath stated… I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God. Any establishment like the likes of Fox news that constantly belittles, disrespect the president of the United States, and constantly promoting, siding with domestic terrorists like the likes of the Arizona rancher, it’s willing to raise arms against the flag should be banned not only in the Fresno establishment but and every military establishments and federal building.

  • Contrast How U.S. Handled the 9/11 and Benghazi Disasters
The public needs to be better informed on how well the administration of each political party handled these two disasters and the extent to which there was full disclosure to the public or a politicized one.

  • Washington Post: Shame on you for backing rape apologist!
Washington Post editorial page editor Fred Hiatt sees nothing wrong with a column that claims rape victims are privileged, that most assaults are made up, and that the stigma of victimhood is actually a status symbol.

  • Save the old growth redwood trees in Armstrong Woods State Natural Reserve in Sonoma County, CA
The old growth redwood trees in Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve are endangered by a proposed water system project from The California Department of Parks and Recreation. The plans will disrupt the ancient and delicate root system of thousands of years old growth redwoods, to pump millions of gallons of water per year for the humans that use the park! The trees cannot handle the loss of water nor the huge physical damage that would occur with the use of heavy equipment within it. Although public pressure has managed to postpone the project until September of 2015, a united stand against it is the only way to kill the plans all together.

  • UN Peacekeeping as an Option for US Military Service
Clearly the results of military endeavors throughout the world have caused untold agonies, sorrow, and destruction. It is absurd to continue to repeat the same actions, just with "better" weapons, and believe that we will create a better and safer world. I believe it is past time to try another avenue, allowing our citizens to lend their weight to Peacekeeping rather than arms bearing. Call me, we will talk.

  • Tell Texas Gov. Rick Perry: Comparing homosexuality to alcoholism is wrong
We don’t have to hear anti-LGBT nonsense in California too often. Certainly not during Pride month. But when Texas Governor Rick Perry visited San Francisco this week, he had this to say: "I may have the genetic coding that I'm inclined to be an alcoholic, but I have the desire not to do that, and I look at the homosexual issue the same way." It’s just wrong to compare homosexuality to a destructive addiction like alcoholism. Governor Perry needs to apologize. Add your voice and we’ll let him know his comments are unacceptable.
