  • Gov. Cuomo: Pardon Cecily McMillan!
You'd think when a police officer assaults a civilian and causes her to have convulsions, the cop would be the one who ends up on trial. Not so if you're an Occupy protester. Then a cop can grope you, attack you and abandon you — and you'll be charged with felonies for elbowing him back.

  • Google: End the Bi-Erasure!
Some of the biggest boundaries for bisexual teens and adults to overcome are erasure and isolation, with people from both the straight and gay community ignoring their issues or refusing to even admit they exist.

  • Dutchess County NYS Senate Challenger Jim Coughlan should take Undoing Racism Classes
Jim Coughlan, the Dutchess County controller and a candidate for state Senate, told the black MSNBC news anchor on Twitter, ‘Keep your stinking paws off my kid, you damned dirty ape.’ The tweet was in response to remarks Harris-Perry made about child-rearing. Coughlan said he had no idea that Harris-Perry is black and denied the comment had racist undertones. • WARNING! Overhead Spraying of Toxic Chemicals In Vermont
To all Vermont Representatives: Please address the most pervasive environmental issue of our times; an aggressive global geoengineering/weather modification program which has been showering toxic health endangering chemicals into our air, water and soil via specialized aircraft and modified existing aircraft. This is nothing less than genocide on a massive scale! If this issue is not addressed then the natural environment of this planet and its people are not being served. As our representatives in the state of Vermont, it is your duty to acknowledge this dire issue in the interest of your constituents and all US citizens. There is not one individual or family untouched by this daily aerosol spraying program. Many are already sick and many have died as a direct result. We are all being saturated with aluminum coated fiberglass particles, barium, strontium, and other harmful “experimental” substances. The most immediate effects are respiratory complications, blurred vision, clogged sinuses, headaches, fatigue, cardiac complications, gastrointestinal problems and short term memory loss. The incidence of cancers, allergies, autism, asthma reproductive disorders and Alzheimer are at an all time high and are associated with the heavy metals, biological and radioactive elements being taken up by the soil water, our livestock, crops and ourselves. This will be damaging to our healthcare system, farming, Vermont products and tourism. PLEASE STOP THIS PROGRAM IN OUR STATE!

  • We need to speak out against the Trans-Pacific Partnership!
We know from leaked documents that the Trans-Pacific Partnership will force ISPs to act as “Internet Police”, monitoring our Internet use, censoring content, and removing whole websites. It will also give media conglomerates centralized control over what you can watch and share online.

  • Salvation Army: Stop turning away the trans community!
Nearly 20 percent of trans people have experienced homelessness at some point in their lives - compared to 1% for the general population - thanks in part to systematic discrimination against trans people in the economic and housing sectors.

  • RI Dept of Health: Stop the Harassment of our lyme Doc!
Another group of Doctors filed a complaint against Dr. James Gloor, the local Doctor in the North Kingstown community who treats Lyme disease patients with long term antibiotics. When their complaint about his treatment of lyme and its co- infections failed, they fell back on a bogus claim that his medical charts are too sloppy. Help us as RI patients retain treatment options and stop the harassment of Dr Gloor.

  • Tell The Senate: It’s Time To Pass Senator Elizabeth Warren’s Bank on Student Emergency Refinanci...
To be delivered TUESDAY, JUNE 10th (THIS TUESDAY) There could be a vote as early as next week, so sign and share TODAY and tell the Senate NOW to vote YES on S2292! “This is TRULY an emergency” stated Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) “The idea here is that we are going to lower the interest rate on OUTSTANDING student loans…Get people back on their feet, so they can pay their loans off sooner, so they can reduce their monthly payments and help families move forward. Help this economy move forward.” Senator Warren, along with two-dozen other Senators, introduced the Bank on Students Emergency Loan Refinancing Act. This bill would allow borrowers, like YOU, to refinance their federal and private student loans to a lower interest rate. This will save borrowers thousands of dollars over the life of their loan.

  • Future of the ORSP
As students interested in rural medical education in Oregon and the ORSP we support Lisa Dodson's succession plans for the ORSP. We feel it would be in the best interest of the Dean's Office, the OHSU School of Medicine, and all parties involved to accept her succession plans and recommendations for the future of the ORSP. With her years of experience in rural medical education and the connections she has made throughout the state, she is the best fit to appoint those faculty members who will take over for her as ORSP leadership, and to develop the curricular plans for its future.
