• Georgia wants its Right Whale living, not dead
The Navy will use deadly sonar for over 20 years in the only place the right whale has to birth its young. Stop the extinction of the world's most endangered whale. Like us, it is one of God's creatures. Humans cause their destruction, yet humans can and must save them.

  • Transparent and accountable judicial system
The judicial system serves and protects its own interests and not the interests of citizens of the States. The courts establish self policing that does not work because it protects biased and prejudice judges even if they are not professionally qualified to sit on the bench. The judges do not want to be accountable to anyone even they are part of one of the branches of the government and constitution provides checks and balances for all branches. The life time tenure already afford judges great protection, but it does not give them a right to be above the law and conduct themselves like they can do whatever they want without any responsibility.

  • Fight Against Drug Usage
I would like to fight against drug usage and abuse. Students in this generation are now addicted to drug usage that, it affects their own health and their ability to continue their education. I want to make a change by explaining to children and young adults why it's not right to use drugs on themselves.

  • GE must pay taxes
This is a gripe of mine. General Electric spends millions to release infomercials about how great they are but does not pay a fair share of taxes to the United States. I want the company to take that money & pay it into the US treasury.

  • Maintain LHS French program
There are so many students that have signed up and wish to continue/begin to learn the French language at LHS. By not re-filling this position the district will be taking away from students' ability to further their education.

  • Father's Day Message for President Obama: Reject Keystone 'Tar Sands' Pipeline
The proposed Keystone XL Pipeline will, if approved, introduce massive new Carbon emissions into the atmosphere (as well other highly toxic chemicals) through the extraction, production and use of 'tar sands oil' - one of the dirtiest greenhouse gas intensive fuels on the planet. The scientific community has given ample warning. And just last month, global CO2 levels reached 400 particles per million - a level 'never before seen by humans' (see references, below) - concurrent with continued record-setting weather extremes across the United States and around the world. Approving this massive new greenhouse-gas project would be a huge historical folly - contrary to scientific warning, contrary to the President's pledge to 'protect us from the effects climate change' and, certainly, run counter to the President's own obligation as a father. This is our message to President Obama on this Father's Day. • STOP CORRUPTION, NEPOTISM, AND ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY FROM DESTROYING CHICAGO SCHOOLS / DETENER LA C...
UNO charter network, one of the largest charter networks in the city, is under investigation by the state of Illinois and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for misusing public funds and adopting inappropriate practices to grant contracts. Governor Quinn has suspended funding for UNO for the second time this year, but he has not taken any steps to demand a forensic/independent audit for this organization which clearly must be scrutinize. The educational funds for over 7,000 children are in jeopardy, as this organization maintains a "ponzi financial scheme" supported by political and corporate interests.
