Senior citizens who have worked all of their lives depend on this "PROMISE" to be here!!! Disabled Americans also depend on their benefits, however small, to help them live when work is no longer an option.

President Obama has proposed cutting Social Security by lowering cost-of-living adjustments for current and future retirees. These cuts, sometimes called "chained CPI," will hurt seniors who have paid into the system for their whole lives and are already struggling with rising health care costs.

there is no reason to cut cost of living as we went at least 4 yrs without a raise and this was the first we had a slight increase. we are not the problem. there are bigger fish to catch.
