The SSC program has impacted the lives and futures of thousands of students in Philadelphia, including myself. The has allowed many inner city students to pave their way towards college and a successful career path, it would be a shame if the program was forced to close.

When pushed for specifics, administrators told Carla an anonymous parent had complained after seeing Carla's long-time partner, Julie, mentioned in her mother's obituary. Kentucky Home Birth Coalition is working to license direct-entry midwives using the Certified Professional Midwife credential. Kentucky Has a higher rate of home birth than the national average yet has no path to licensure for direct-entry midwives who provide the majority of care to these families. Women need access to quality maternity care regardless of their chosen place of birth. Certified Professional Midwives (CPM) are nationally credentialed midwives who are licensed in 27 other states and provide evidence-based and cost effective primary maternity care. More and more Kentucky women are choosing to give birth at home and need access to quality midwifery care. We urge the Kentucky legislature to vote yes to license Certified Professional Midwives.

I would like to send a huge "Thank You" to all of the U.S. senators that stood up and defended the constitution and my 2nd amendment rights by voting "Nay" on the gun control measures that were recently voted on in the U.S. Senate. These gun control measures would have done absolutely nothing to make our country safer. The only thing they would have accomplished would be limiting the 2nd amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.

The Department of Defense is a paradise for sexual predators, who are often promoted into positions of power over immature persons. Very little accountability accountability exists in the DOD. Senior predators know how to game the system, and have undue influence. The DOD and its employees tend to be self serving and biased. the victims of sexual predators often have a nightmare experience seeking justice in an unresponsive or adversarial DOD that believes the predator

In light of the recent purchase of American Politics regarding the lack of a vote on Gun Legislation, complete transparency of monies given by lobbyists is tantamount to returning politics to the people.
