Hayden Is. so that the Port can turn W. Hayden Is. into a parking lot and industrial area. The Port already has sites that are unused. Audubon, Sierra Club, Oregon and Washington Indian Tribes and Metro residents have voiced opposition to development of this site, one of the last remaining, highly diverse natural areas on the Columbia River in the Portland, Oregon Metro Area.
