The 50th Anniversary of the Kennedy assassination will be held Nov. 22, 2013 in Dealey Plaza, Dallas, where President John F. Kennedy was shot, but the City of Dallas and the 6th Floor Museum have taken over Dealey Plaza. They say they will allow no mention of Kennedy's death, will allow only city residents entry to Dealey Plaza, issuing entry tickets. All others can assemble in a designated area far from Dealey Plaza, where they can be subject to arrest as felons if any disturbances (which can be created by infiltrators) take place. COPA and others who traditionally spoke on the Grassy Knoll for decades have been denied permits to speak, buy or sell, or to hold a moment of silence. We demand that Dealey Plaza be opened to all Americans. COPA, which traditionally held a moment of silence, eulogies and speeches regarding the assassination, has been denied the expected permit to gather on the Grassy Knoll. This petition is not associated with COPA but stands as a demand for the freedom of speech of the people, and for access to Dealey Plaza for all Americans, without impediments or arrest. OneWest Bank is foreclosing on residential and investment properties across the United States-especially California. Why should I lose my property that I have owned since 1994 because OneWest wants to foreclose instead of modifying our loan under HAMP?? Please tell President Obama to tell OneWest Bank to stop foreclosing on our properties and give us the HAMP loan modification. It is not my fault that I got Multiple Sclerosis. Does OneWest Bank have to further ruin my life by foreclosing on my property instead of giving me the HAMP loan modification that I deserve and can afforrd to pay and keep my property that I have owned for over 18 years??!!

There are about 300,000 Mississippians who are uninsured because they can't afford to pay for insurance and they aren't eligible for medicaid. It is immoral to keep these people from medical care when it can be made available to them. Besides it would bring into this state hundreds of millions of dollars and create thousands of jobs.

Student loan debt continues to grow at a steady rate while middle income salaries have flat-lined for 30 years and the ideals of earning a degree to contribute to society both financially and socially are dwindling. Citizens want to continue their pursuit of their American Dream and they are willing to try anything to reel in their debt and start building capital, including playing lottery games like Powerball. We have learned quickly that few win in Powerball, and their winnings don't make much of a difference to the rest of us playing. I request that we consider a nationwide Student Loan Lottery game. Players (both with debt or without) could purchase tickets either online or at convenience stores. Jackpots could be used to pay student loan debt incurred to that date, if short, remaining debt would remain, if some funds remained following payoff - they could be added to the future jackpot. In essence, we could pay off each others student loan debts and truly make a difference.

Writing-Climate Change 2/5/2013 Climate change is not just another issue. It is the issue beyond all issues. It is the turning point of the planet towards its demise - or the demise of the people and other living things upon it. To believe that it is another issue like economic justice, gay rights, legalizing marijuana, or ending the war, is to be caught in the mass hypnosis of our times. This is the most pivotal issue of existence, the impact of which will be felt for all time. We are the pivotal generation. The crime of climate change is that it is imposed on all people's of the earth. It results in huge suffering, wars, mass starvation and death. First islands will go and cities on low lying coasts. People in third world nations will be without food and water. Extreme and deadly climate events will destroy the economy, raising prices and leading to more misery. They will take the lives of many and destroy their property and livelihood. The seasons for most will become more difficult to endure. The future of our children and our grandchildren is being destroyed. We are deciding to allow the sickening and dying for the planet for all time and all beings. We cannot stand by as this happens. We must cry out in huge numbers and say: Stop! Climate change cannot be allowed and must be reversed. This is non-negotiable. We have broken our hypnosis. To risk the planet for the sake of the greed of private enterprise is not just a political position you can be for or against. It is the biggest crime ever perpetuated. This petition asks the rules about advertising be applied to cable TV. Cable TV has almost continuous advertising through pop-up windows that distract greatly from the program being watched. I notice that the actual ads do not allow channel identification because it would detract from the message.

We are a country of laws and targeting Americans or foreigners without producing evidence or charging them, without due process, without allowing them to surrender is contrary to our founding core principles as a nation.
