Life long politicians only concern is being re-elected. Therefore, they act in their own best interest and cater to whomever is providing the most money for their re-election. The 22nd Ammendment sets term limits for the President of the United States. The time has come for Congress to have term limits as well. I have taken the 22nd Ammendment and modified it to apply to the Senate and House of Representatives.

Minimum wage has been frozen for decades. Instead of $7.25 per hour, $11.00 per hour is more appropriate. If 5.2% of our working population is at or below minimum wage, this would be a win, win, for everyone--even those who are paying more for their minimum wage employees would see an increase in their sales volumes, and the country would see an increase in tax revenues available for public works. I propose the change start on the local level--by the city and by the county. Incentives for local employers to pay more could be encouraged by local cities, for example, stating there will be an increase for business license fees, or perhaps, building permits and others except for those employers who are willing to increase their minimum wage employees to $11.00 per hour. It would be good PR for the big box stores within the city to lead the charge.

The so-called Arab Spring is part of a broader Global Spring, where the people of the world are taking note of what governments are doing and having the courage to stand up for what they believe in. President Dwight Eisenhower said that "I think that people want peace so much that one of these days governments had better get out of the way and let them have it." He was right. At the very least, the U.S. government should make it a crime for any American leader to authorize armed force in violation of our commitments under the U.N. Charter and relevant international law, so that the people of the world will know that that's not what America and Americans are about.

MONTANA: A recent flurry of new state bills have been introduced seeking to reduce the wolf populations with even more aggressive management ‘tools’ that make it easier to hunt and trap more wolves. I am an animal rights advocate with a PASSION for WOLVES! I work along with many other advocates in many groups to SAVE and PROTECT all WOLF SPECIES here in the United States and Worldwide. We will not STOP our fight until they are returned to the ENDANGERED SPECIES LIST, before the last wolf is killed in our country...it's just a matter of time. Fracking has serious health and environmental effects. So far, there is much grass roots activism in the midwestern and northeastern states most affected. I live in Washington State where there is no significant fracking yet. I want to encourage others like me to get involved and I want to let the federal government know we are here.

We want to close the Summit County Fairgrounds in Akron, Ohio as a venue to gun shows. These gunshows are nothing but a way to buy an assault riffle and other dangerous hardware with out a back ground check. It should not be funded with our tax dollars.

Coal Combustion Byproducts or Residuals ("CCB" or "CCR") are filled with concentrated toxins, including heavy metals such as arsenic, lead, and mercury, and other compounds such as hexavalent chromium (of Erin Brokovich fame). Power companies, such as American Electric Power ("AEP") and others are dumping CCBs into watersheds, in unlined "fill" projects which are categorized as "beneficial use" of the materials. After the Kingston, Tennessee collapse of a CCB pond in 2008, President Obama and the EPA vowed to prevent such a catastrophe agagain. After the EPA held public hearings in 2010, the overwhelming majority of comments were in favor of regulating CCBs as a hazardous solid waste under Subtitle C of the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act ("RCRA"). To date, the EPA has yet to deliver a sensible regulation on this material. Big Coal power companies such as AEP continue to use CCBs as an unregulated "fill" material, depositing it on the banks of rivers and streams that provide drinking water for entire communities. This practice must stop. Urge the President to allow the EPA to regulate CCBs as a hazardous waste under Subtitle C of RCRA!
