make elections equal and fair without that it's a slippery slope ....

This will prevent a political party from gerrymandering and stealing presidential campaigns that they can't win by popular vote. It's time to end the Electoral College and elect our President by popular vote.

An increse in gun violence across the United States is being amplified by the medias over publicization of these issues. This is directed to the president due to the fact that a media ban would be in violation of the first ammendment of the Bill of Rights. Changes to the second ammendment are evidently neccessary, however, the legislation need not be publicized; the legislation is a matter best handled by the president and congress, it is their job to make these changes, not ours as citizens.

Currently there is no way out of student loans other than death (or hardship). I propose capping repayment at double what you borrowed. So if you've repaid what you borrowed twice over, the rest will be forgiven.

Florida needs someone who'll bring jobs to the state, not someone whose political ideology stands in the way of people making a decent wage. Bring the high-speed rail and other businesses to Florida. Floridians need jobs not a do nothing govenor. We want someone who works FOR the people, not against them and their families.

Awarding citizenship to everyone who has been cleared by INS/ICE. Immigration candidates who obeyed our laws and followed rules should be rewarded quickly and well.

Companies that disregard the Federal disability act and discharge workers who have requested accomidations

Four people were brutally arrested by the UCPD during a peaceful demonstration this Sunday, including a student and an alumnus of the University of Chicago. This goes against the spirit and ideals of the University of Chicago, and thus as alumni, we must make our disapproval known.

The California office workforce is one that is an 'AT WILL' entity, which gives support, as it were, to the derogation and abuse of the office worker by those in 'Upper Management'. I, myself, have come under unfair actions more than once and have been either terminated from my job unfairly or otherwise forced out. I have also seen various and suppressive actions used by those in Upper Management against their workers due to ego concerns, and believe that unfair targeting, termination, and suppression of an individual's rights should be henceforth stopped in the office workplace altogether.

Those wishing to lawfully enter this country and sponsored by a relative should be given priority. My friend is due to graduate in a year college in Brazil. Her sister has lived here for five years and graduated UCF with a BA in Business Administration. The country needs translators, and my friend speaks five languages and translates for business English to Portuguese. We should make immigration and work visas easily obtainable for people of skill and education who are sponsored by relatives.

As Federal and State legislators debate potential gun control laws, citizens are becoming overwhelmingly concerned about their Constitutional Rights. This petition (in the form of a letter) will be delivered to each Sheriff in each county in Ohio. The letter asks that County Sheriffs do not enforce or honor any new federal gun laws imposed by the federal government that will infringe on the County's citizens' 2nd Amendment rights. Furthermore, the letters, whether signed by the country Sheriff or not, will be presented to Ohio State Legislators and the Governor. We will request that a new state law bans the enforcement of Federal legislation that contradicts Constitutional Rights.
