In the last session of the Texas legislature, the legislature cut $5.4 million dollars in education funding. This is resulting in the quality of education that our children should have.

This petition is about making sure millions of people living in poverty-stricken South Carolina have actual access to affordable healthcare. Relying on emergency rooms and the like isn't nor has ever worked and it is a drain on the economy and the taxpayers involved in making that economy work. Well, No more - we need healthcare reform in South Carolina and sane people to realize that healthcare is an absolute right, not a business to be bartered around with! After seein Meidcaid get rejected in my state and realizing all the people who could've been helped, South Carolina is on the verge of being on the wrong side of history, yet again. Let's not make this mistake. We need to make this a serious issue, and that begins here.

I am writing because I would like Oklahoma to accept the expansion of Medicaid because I have friends who desparately need healthcare and don't qualify for the insurance even though they are low income enough they need it I myself qualify because I'm disabled but I have friend who has been sick for 3 months and is having a hard time getting healthcare to find out what is wrong and I'm trying to help him but him and his wife are scared to do the tests but don't have a choice to find out what is wrong and help him get well. I don't want my friend to die so I'm trying to help them get to doctors appointments and I just went to the pharmacy for him and they wouldn't fill his prescriptions and he needs them to get the testing done. Please help me and others like me who need healthcare and please let the Medicaid expansion go through thank you very much.

I have put an inquiry into Empire Management Company to obtain the right to adopt a small dog into my home @ Liberty Commons. As long as we are responsible and cleaning up after our animals, why shouldn't we be able to provide a loving home to a dog in need as well as gaining a best friend at the same time? After all, dogs are not called man's best friend for no reason!

"LET`S STOP THE VIOLENCE BETWEEN KIDS/YOUNG ADULTS" A young man in Sebring,Fl , Aaron Doty, 20 years old, was beaten at a party by two men while others at the party watched. No one did anything but video taped the fight instead of calling 911, No 911 calls were made at or after the party. Aaron was later brought to the woods by the same two men in someone elses truck, whom is not being charged and they set him on fire while he was still alive . Aaron was left for dead while not a single person helped him. he was found dead on 6/9/2012. All those people who stood there and watched an innocent person slowly die, and did not help him or call 911 should be charged with accessory after the fact to his death. It needs to be a law that if you see someone helpless being abused or see someone whos life is in danger or anything of that nature to call 911 to save someones life. I speak for others when I say we want justice for Aaron Doty. This law needs to be in effect to protect the innocent and punish the guilty!!!

Having Governor Kasich remove his selection of Todd Snitchler as the Chairman of the Ohio PUCO (Public Utilities Commission of Ohio) for constantly being openly unfair and absolutely against Ohio's law to generate 20% green energy by 2020.

These people are paid to do a job. They should not pe paid extra if they cannot do the job in a timely matter. It is absurd that they get paid extra to argue as to how to spend our limited resources. I' m tired of spending my tax dollars for ineffective government.
