    Other states have done this and I have heard that Michigan is considering it. In cases where it has been done it has given Republicans a big and unfair advantage. I don't want that to happen iin my state.

  • Save Homestead exemption
    When Gov. LaPage got into office he started full scale assault on Maine State Gov. positions as a result I chose to leave my 30 year job supporting people with mental retardation so I could continue to get my health insurance. Now as a property owner on a fixed income I am worried I will no longer be able to afford to live in Maine. The local property taxes doubled for me last year and every thing has gone up in price since I left my dream job 2 years ago. Lets be more open to raising taxes on folks who can afford to pay them like tourists.

  • Legalize Marijuana in Montana
    Five years of my life was spent on probation for possession of marijuana, and during this time I was virtually unemployable. Millions across the nation are effected by the drug war and the amount of money spent on prohibition is unacceptable and obviously unproductive. We in Montana are smarter than this. Let's follow in Washington and Colorado's footsteps. Legalize and tax marijuana in Montana and use the tax dollars for education, something that actually will lower drug use.

    If an inmate is caught sexually assaulting, sexually battering, assaulting with intent to commit rape they are arrested in prison, called an "In House Arrest" most of these cases are heard by the Prison Board/an Administration Hearing and a disciplinary action is handed out to the offender. The offense may be put on their arrest record, however, upon Parole or Probation they are not required to register as a sex offender.

The New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police have received an offer from a concerned citizen's group to buy out the raffle, covering the price of all tickets sold, and a jeweler is willing to used the melted guns to create items to benefit victims of gun violence. Ask the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police to take the win/win/win option and save lives.

  • Stricter Guideslines for gun ownership.
    I have a close relative that is mentally ill. In the past, he owned several guns and threatened me and other family members for decades. Most of his arsenal was obtained at gun shows in California. After being arrested and convicted of violating mine and my then-minor daughter's restraining order with firearms, he no longer has access to easily obtainable firearms. This is good, but too little, ALMOST too late.

    Right to work does nothing to create jobs or make jobs better that are in existence now. It simply is an attack on unions and union members in Mo. It has been proven in states that have right to work laws the per capita income is lower than in states which do not have the law.
