Many loopholes have appeared that may enable Fracking to be a burden on taxpayers and citizens. These should be fully addressed before Fracking is permitted.

Western Massachusetts does not have mass transportation, most people commute long distances to work. The TAXES already paid on our vehicles are: Sales Tax when we purchase the vehicle, Excise Tax-yearly, State & Federal Tax on each and every gallon of gas/diesel that we purchase. We have NO OTHER OPTIONS FOR TRANSPORTATION. ENOUGH! Our Massachusetts Governor wants to now TAX us for the number of miles we drive on our vehicles each year. Example: if they impose even a small amount of $.10 cents per mile, and you drive 10,000 miles a year (which is not a lot) that would mean and additional mileage tax of $1000. which equals $83.00/month and that is at only 10 Cents per mile. Wake up!!!!!!

The current NASA budget is overwhelmingly underfunded which begs the question, why has the agency that's supposed to propel us into the future have its budget slowly gutted year by year while special interests groups get their way. NASA has been the breeding ground for innovations and dreams. How much would you pay for the universe?

The stalemate and inability or unwillingness of many of the members of Congress to engage one another civilly and intelligently and the obvious motive of most of them to do whatever necessary in order to stay in office has driven the general citizenry to throw up their hands. It's time that the members of Congress were made to play by the same rules they dole out to the rest of us.

My children and I have had our privacy invaded to the point where we cannot even enjoy the comfort of our own home, take part in community activities, or enjoy a peaceful environment. My neighbors have defamed my character, harrassed us, exploited, intentionally inflicted emotional distress, and put us in harms way for over a year and a half. Due to the way they(Steve Polencheck, Polly Cegler, and another), have portrayed me to the public, I am in a custody battle, having my employment threatened(as they are broadcasting insidious things that I stuck my finger in my daughter, that I go to the bar everyday, threatening to kill people, sexually explicit material, etc. They are conspiring to deprive me of my life, liberties, home, property, etc., as they are trying to force me to co-habit with somebody against my will. I have audio recordings from various sources proving that this is a civil conspiracy. Also that they are trying to push my kids away from me. The police refused to do anything about this matter, along with the FBI, and attorneys that I have contacted. Due to these untruths and malicious gossip being broadcast through the use of these speaker systems, they have practically destroyed my life.

Lt. Gov. Dewhurst just removed Sen. Wendy Davis from the Education Committee. She has been one of the few real voices for public education in Texas, and they are trying to silence her! We need Sen. Wendy Davis on the Education Committee to hold them accountable.

The LGBT community needs to be protected from discrimination in the work place. Employers in most areas of the country can refuse to hire - or even fire - someone because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. ENDA needs to be passed to protect us.

The ruling on citizens united gives corporations the same voice as American voters, with a catch, they corporations are allowed to spend millions on campaign adds and smear campaigns that steer Americans away from the truth. This gives the corporate rule an upper hand in our government, and continues the process of corporations controlling our congress. Citizens United is class warfare and should be eliminated.

State laws permitted by section 14(b) of the taft-hartley act that provide in general that employees are not required to join a union as a condition of getting or retaining a job. Therefore, when a state passes a right-to-work law, it prohibits both mandatory union membership and initiation fees and dues obligations of agency shops, and permits employees who do not voluntarily pay dues and initiation fees to receive the benefits the union provides. Unions call such people "free riders." This law breaks the foundation of the unions, and sets apart further the pay gap between the now uber rich and working poor. This law has nothing to do with " rights at work" but a ploy with a twist of words to break unions. The last resort for a fading Middle Class, that was set by unions.
