The last legislative session passed a provision that charges 6% compound interest on deferred property taxes for low income disabled and seniors. The average mortgage now is 3.5 simple interest. This is unjust. The way to intergenerational wealth is real property ownership. I am a woman who has been paid 77 cents on the dollar my whole life. So is my daughter. I want to be able to leave something to her and my son. This measure is a low income land grab by the State of Oregon. Looks like Old England.

State and county employees have not gottten a raise in Six years and COLA has been diminished while the cost of living is increasing and our salaries stay stagnant even at times decreasing and THE Senate Bill 2100 made things even worst which on 1/7/2013 , The Supreme court of Florida agreed with our arguments this bill was unfair and unjustifiable but do to the red tape of legalities we the Employees were shot down again. The Wild Hare (formerly housed in Chicago's Wrigleyville neighborhood) is not only a great source of entertainment for an untapped audience, but a staple and tourist attraction for the city. Many became familiar with the Reggae nightclub bar & lounge by way of the movie Love Jones; others, because of its incredible live shows, friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere. The Wild Hare was/is one of the only homes for live Reggae concerts. The Wild Hare is running out of time, and without live performances, running out of money. Many Chicago residents were devastated when this staple first closed its doors and so happy to see them back. Now... we might loose them again... indefinitely.

An easy way to help prevent firearm deaths in this country is to require gun manufacturers to include an appropriate gun lock with every firearm sold in this country. Whether it is a trigger lock or a cable lock that prevents a shell from being loaded, having a lock included increases the chance that the owner will use one. Thus, preventing accidental discharge, or a thief from readily using it.

It is tru that slight difference may make a difference in efficiency and provide a competitive advantage in extraction, and this is a legitimate argument for being maintained as "trade secrets". However, the subltleties of appropriate monitoring and regulation for protection of ari and water quality outweigh "trade secret" advantages and the loss of secretiveness will be shared in common by all producers, and they may even learn from one another more effective extraction methods and simultaneously better protect the air and water AND improve their capacity to reusse and recycle and reclaim components of the slurry and actually save money and increase profits for them all. Our deficit is out of control, making the average taxpayer nervous, and feeling vaguely ripped off when images of people "working' the system, and continuing to make irresponsible choices on the governmental dime are shown in the media, or right in their faces. I propose this: Make the receipt of cash and food stamp benefits dependent on the completion of basic parenting and sex education programs.

Last summer, organizers in Orange County, FL gathered more than 50,000 petitions earning the right to vote on the issue of Earned Sick Time for workers. Five out of six county commissioners were found to be secretly texting lobbyists to block citizens from their right to vote on this issue. The only way to restore faith in the democratic process and bring justice to 52,000 voters who legally petitioned their government is for Mayor Jacobs to call for a criminal investigation into the commissioners’ questionable actions.

Currently in the state of Minnesota there Minnesota care does not cover transgender related issue. This includes sexual reassignment. This cause depression and suicide which cost the state a lot more. This use to be covered until the gop wrote it out .
