If discrimination in any form is wrong, discrimination against the long term unemployed in a time of economic disparity is criminal; we need to tell the federal and state governments there can be no economic recovery in the United States until people are given a fair chance to work regardless of how long they have been out of work.

Repeal portions of the HIPPA LAW!r the incident at Sandy Hook and some things happening in my family, I would like a portion of the Hippa Law changed. I feel it should read that if a patient is given a mind altering drug or a drug that has an affect on the brain where the patient is not cognitively able to think clearly, then he/she should not have the right to sign off family members to talk to their physicians. Because the HIPPA Law says it is the right of the patient to control who their physician talks to, many people are out their like the Sandy Hook shooter. Please help me. My family moved to Paradise Valley, Humboldt County Nevada 10 years ago to start a small ranch and farm in heart Buckaroo Country. Now we just found out Winnemucca Farms sold a very large amount of Water Rights to Las Vegas this will effect all the streams, creeks and water table that support out rural community lives and futures since 1860. I currently reside in a HDFC building where shareholders are obligated to self managing , My issue is that so many buildings have been affected by this type of managing when no one oversees what the board is doing ,In my building we have a Treasurer who has withdrawn over 25k in cash and no one knows what to do about it , Mayor Bloomberg is behind these programs but he never implemented a progarm or dept that would oversee that the buildings are be governed by the bylaws,We need a dept that oversees HDFC buildings

Insurance information should be integrated into the police computers the same as drivers licenses and registration information. Police computers should be able to validate insurance information on the scene. Many people have accidents and when the police arrive they produce insurance cards that are invalid and victims end up having to pay for the repair and medical bills and increased insurance rates because that uninsured driver knew that by the time the state of New Jersey realized that his card was invalid it would be to late. These people should be identified and held responsible on the spot for their blatant disregard for the law.

North Carolina's General Assembly is about to take the unprecedented step of seizing a municipal-run water system from a city, which in this case has owned and operated it for over 100 years. Members of the NCGA have signaled their intention to introduce legislation in early 2013 that would force the city of Asheville to turn over not only its water distribution system, but control of its pristine 20,000 acre watershed, to the Metropolitan Sewerage District of Buncombe County (MSD). Indications are that the city of Asheville will likely receive no compensation for the taking of these assets.
