• FDA: Downclassify medical devices that don't satisfy the definition of Class III.
The Food and Drug Administration is required to classify medical devices into one of three classes. Due to a logical flaw in Form FDA 3429 that existed until July, 2012, certain devices were directed into Class III despite the fact that they don't satisfy the definition of Class III in the law. So far, FDA has failed to acknowledge this problem, which imposes a heavy burden on the makers of such devices.

  • Donations must be approved by an IRS seal
Everyday I keep seeing commercial after commercial about people asking the public too give too their so called non profit organization, their religious organizations and overseas donations, problem is their company car is about 80k,their homes are between 300k and millions and their travel expense is through the roof,I am tired of these people who claim too be helping others while helping themselves before anyone else. This should be against the law because their profit seems too be in all the material things they get from their so called non profit organization and no donation should be considered as a gift and if it is then the public should be told that they can not use it as a tax write off.

  • Make fine print on commercials bigger and shown longer.
I am tired of all these con advertisements that promise you everything under the sun until you read the fine print, problem is they may show the fine print but it's so small and flashed on the screen so fast, you can't read it unless you have a dvr. There was once a time when false advertisement was against the law but now a days ,these people can lie to you as long as they flash the fine print in their advertisements.

  • Mayor Cuomo: Please curb the tax cap overide in Westchester County!!
I am a resident of the city of Mt Vernon for twenty four years. The school tax accounts for the highest percentage of our tax revenue. Every year this increases and our children's education keeps decreasing. Governor Cuomo's recently imposed a TAX CAP OF two percent tax cap on the city tax in Westchester. The problem the city council has for the second year ignored the move and voted to over ride the cap.The practice of voting for this over ride must each year must stop now.

  • Congress: Revoke NRA tax exempt status.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) and the U.S. Supreme Court have subverted the Second Amendment for the benefit of gun manufacturers. The NRA tax exempt status reduces the revenue available for much more worthy causes, which in effect reduces the effectiveness of contributions by U.S. taxpayers.

  • let em live let em work
The lifelong penalization of ex-offenders in this country when it comes to jobs. Every American deserves the chance for redemption and dignity if they desire to change and be law abiding and productive to our society.

  • Defenseless Without The Daily Show!
Jon Stewart has been voted the most trusted newsman on TV. Stephen Colbert analyzes and educates at a level not matched in any media. What other journalist has started a SuperPAC to mock (but more importantly expose) the corruption and laxity at work in electoral politics? These two Comedy Central programs are doing some of the heaviest lifting in our democracy -- but they leave the people exposed and defenseless too many weeks out of the year. Fox News spews its poison propaganda 365 days a year. But The Daily Show and Colbert Report go on extended vacations all the time. They leave for two and three weeks at a time, sometimes, and we have no firewall standing between Fox News and reality.

  • New National Anthem-America the Beautiful
Let us return to singing the praises of the LAND on which we live instead of glorifying the wreck of a battle with an Old English drinking song. Imagine stadiums of people singing a more easily sung song that envision our beautiful mountains, plains and the food produced from it all. Imagine school children picturing a country living and working in harmony. Imagine music soothing the angry beast that lies in many American's hearts today. Make it real, ask for this one, simple change

  • Do not punish non service connected veterans who receive a pension let them get married and recei...
Its very hard for a veteran to be able to prove that they got disabled due to the wars they fought my husband is got severely injured back in the vietnam war and has all kinds of problmes but was only able to get non service connected disablity even though his records got lost. The problem is that its really hard for veterans to get even non service disablity and they dont get as good of care as those who are lucky enough to get service connected. The sad thing is that my husband lost his benefits after we got married because if you are non service connected even though I am disabled myself on SSD they dont give him money. This happens to alot of veterans and I dont think its right to penalize a veteran even if it was no fault of their own they should overturn the law and not penalize non service connected veterans they should be able to get married and not be punished for getting married. I think they need to quit doing the non service connected thing because they use that as an excuse to get out of paying veterans a stipend even though alot of times records that were lost were not the veterans fault. I think if anyone who was a veteran should have respect and be able to get treated with dignity the veterans tests for disablity are toughter than social security and if the veteran is considered disabled by the veterans then they shouldnt play the non service game especially if they were in a war like my husband was in its not his fault that the va lost alot of his records.

  • Term Limits
Two terms for President, two terms for Senators and 4 terms for Representatives. We get this on the ballot. Congress certainly won't do it by themselves. With unlimited terms their main concern is to get re-ellected not to represent the people.

  • Bring War Crimes Charges Against Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld
There is no disputing the fact that the U.S. conducted water-boarding on suspected members of al Queda. Bush admitted on TV that he authorized it. Yet this is just a well-known example of the kinds of war crimes ordered by the highest levels of our executive branch. We let these few blacken our countries reputation for fairness and morality when we turn a blind eye to their war crimes.
