We as employeed citizens must be drug tested for most employment opportunties; therefore all of those receiving aid from the government should be drug tested as well to ensure their money is used wisely.

I think it's important to give pedifiles a sentence instead of a slap on the hand with probation. Lives are never the same for the victims of pedifilies. Children are our future, we need to protect them.

I would like to see all Us Senators and Congressmen have 8 years as a term limit. That will allow for new people to get into the office. It will allow for the United States to be run more efficiently with out all the corruption that we currently have in government offices.

Credit issuers have arbitrarily set cutoff times on one's payment due date that can result in much ill-gotten revenue that might otherwise be stimulating the U.S. economy. For example, Citi Bank cuts off at 5:00 p.m. EST. I paid my bill on the due date but at 6:00 p.m. CST; and, as a result, I was charged a $20 late fee and $1.01 "interest". It's easy to forget that a particular card has an unusual cut off time, like that of a gas company who's cutoff time is 3:00 pm. PST.

Get Congress to eliminate their lifetime pensions and health coverage.

Millions of people live on their Social Security benefits and cannot live with a cut these. They also rely on Medicare . They have nowhere to turn if these benefits are cut. There is another way to add billions s to the U.S. Treasury:stop oil and gas subsidies!

We have an opportunity this year to expand Yosemite National Park by hundreds of acres, just in time for the 150th anniversary of Yosemite’s original Land Grant. This expansion will restore beautiful forest land that was stripped from the park and given to loggers, miners and the railroad industry long ago. Only Congress has the power to expand Yosemite National Park: With the leadership of preservation champions like Sen. Diane Feinstein, we can get this done in time for Yosemite’s 150th birthday.

We have all been affected by the inability of Congress and Senate to do anything.. we are always approaching finiancial cliffs because they refused to do their elected jobs. If we refused to do our jobs we would be disiplined by our employers, wrote up, funds withheld until the tasks were completed or fired. The Congress and Senate are looking for ways to cut spending-- then I know how this can be done-- If we have an inaffective Congress/Senate their pensions, and pay should be targeted. For example, they lose staff, cars, paid vacations,etc. , and all this "much to do about nothing" would hopefully cease.. We are paying them to do a job and they are not performing. Americans need recourse-- let's affect their pay their incomes like in the real world.

Get Perry out of the governorship of Texas and get someone in who believes in education and human rights.

Making Hurricane Sandy victims in New York and New Jersey wait for aid by eliminating their $60 billion in relief from fiscal cliff bill, saying "they can wait" is reprehensible AND the last straw! He has no business being Speaker of the United States House!

My husband and I are both former school employees and were promised a decent pension after retirement. At this point, we have not received a COLA for ten years. Medical expenses and many other items have increased in price so we cannot purchase what we used to. In the meantime the legislature have seemed to enjoy their COLA but have done nothing to help their former teachers, etc. How about looking into this to see what can be done.
