Entitlements & the Fiscal CliffSince virtually everyone is contemplating so-called entitlements as we teeter on the edge of financial Armageddon, we, the voters of the United States of American, demand our elected Senators and Representatives to consider the following entitlements:8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lori Sadowski

End WWE PG EraWe WWE fans demand not only an end to the PG-13 rating currently imposed on all programming, but to its now apparent consequences. The rating limits the creative freedom that contributed to WWE's unprecedented prosperity during the late 1990s. It further fosters creative self-censorship motivated by a need to please family-friendly advertisers. The end result is reliably mediocre content that lacks a single vision, insults our intelligence and is out of touch with what attracts our interest.206 of 300 SignaturesCreated by CM Tweep

Warren County TN - Animals in Desperate NeedAnimals are treated like trash there and some of the folks in Warren County do not care... they are thrown away, abandoned, abused, kicked, shot, hit with bats, starved to death, poisoned, beaten. Dogs are left chained with no access to food or water, thrown from moving vehicles, and when families move they leave behind their animals behind with no one ever arrested. Cats and kittens are killed, left in bags on the road to be ran over, drowned and abused. Horses are starved and killed, one even dragged behind a vehicle. What part of that is ok? None that I know of!! Unfortunately, this goes on daily in that area.....We who love animals must stand up and say NO MORE!. Because, sadly there is NOTHING the law enforcement departments will do to help.79 of 100 SignaturesCreated by R Blair

26 Angels PetitionIn memory of the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, Connecticut. America is the greatest country on Earth. We are better than seventeen mass killings in just one year, 2012, all resulting from the misuse of firearms... 1. Newtown, CT (elementary school), 26 Angels shot dead including 20 children. Dec, 2012 2. Portland, Oregon (mall), 3 shot dead, Dec, 2012 3. Brookfield, WI (spa), 4 shot dead, Oct, 2012 4. Minneapolis, MN (workplace), 5 shot dead, Sept, 2012 5. Texas (Texas A&M University), 3 shot dead, Aug, 2012 6. New York, NY (Empire State Building), 2 shot dead, 8 injured, Aug, 2012 7. Oak Creek, WI (Sikh Temple), 6 shot dead, Aug, 2012 8. Norcross, GA (Korean health spa), 5 shot dead, Feb, 2012 *** Our voices can make a difference in the following ways: 1. Renewing the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban is the first step toward protecting our children and families. Assault weapons are designed for the sole purpose of mass killing, and are not needed by any civilian for self defense or hunting. Not even police officers use assault weapons in the field. The Harvard Injury Control Research Center concluded that the more guns that are available to the public, the higher the homicide rate. 2. Stronger gun control laws should: -mandate a gun-safety course -ban high capacity clips -require gun registration and licensure -increase age requirement -prohibit felons from purchasing guns -prohibit people previously hospitalized for mental illness from purchasing guns *** Stricter gun-control laws do not stop a responsible citizen from obtaining a gun. The gun lobby has swayed our elected officials for too long with large campaign contributions. It's time to use our voices to empower our elected officials. We must show courage and conviction to prevent future gun violence in America. Commit to support stronger federal gun control legislation per above. WE MUST ARM AMERICANS WITH KNOWLEDGE, AND DISARM OUR COMMUNITIES FROM ASSAULT WEAPONS.990 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Kyrah Altman

HEMP AT HOME!!HEMP IS THE MOST PROFITABLE CROP OUR GOVERNMENT COULD EVER INVEST IN!! Over 30,000 known products can be produced from hemp including fuel, food, clothes, paper, building materials and biodegradable plastic; just to name a few. It grows without herbacides and pesticides, reduces our carbon emissions, creates jobs, is health beneficial, reduces deforestation and is over all beneficial to our Earth, homes, lives and country! Oh, and did I mention that there is no possible way to get high on hemp! Hemp is NOT marijuana!! The US is the ONLY industrialized nation in the WORLD that does not permit the production of hemp!! STOP THE NONSENSE!! NOW!!4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Stephanie

Congress -----No Work NO PayAta 78 years old, a disabled Korean Waar Veteran, who has worked since he was 9 years old. I am appalled at our elected representatives for all their posturing and hatred, greed and hypocrisy. They all make me sick. Thay have had more then a year to settle this mess that THEY created, ON purpose. Their hatred of a black president is so obvious. They are even willing to sink our economy and put me and a couple million others OUT of work just for thier own selfish wants. By the way, I am white. It is sickening. Now I hear they are going to give themselves a pay raise. OVER MY DEAD BODY!!!! Four years ago you took every other week off rather than stay in Washington and do the work we sent you there to do. This past year you have had more time off than you spent doing the peoples business. You do not seem to get that you are killing us out here in "We The People" land. If you deliberatly let this happen, you should never get a pay raise again EVER!! How can you dare give yourselves more money when you have taken most of ours away from us??? If you do not pass the fiscal bill, tax cuts, extension of unemployment benefits, and leave our social security alone, you deserve NOTHING! No work, NO pay. You have blown the money, not us. Accept respnsibility for your own stupidity instead of taking it out of our pockets. Wake up congress. We are wise to you. You are not getting the message. Maybe a jolt to your check, like you have given us, might makae a difference, but I doubt it. You are pathetic. Look at the log in your own eye, before looking at the splinter in mine. Leave our SS alone.13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Don Maroncelli

Petition for the United States Government to refrain from robbing its own citizens.Do not cut my Social Security. I have been paying into it my entire working life. If it has been a Ponzie Scheme, then the law should deal with that, including me suing the government for the full recovery of the money I have been forced to pay plus interest and lots of people going to the Federal Penitentiary. If the government has money to provide subsidies to businesses making record profits and money to create several new billionaires in the Middle East, then it has enough money to refrain from robbing me.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Victoria Rudolph

Take Church Out Of Our City CouncilThe City Council in the small Texas Hill Country town of Bulverde, insists upon invocations that begin their monthly meetings with blatantly sectarian prayer. They feel fully entitled, as they are "the majority". I, on the other hand, believe what Thomas Jefferson explains, that "it is the responsibility of the majority to ensure that the rights of the minority are represented." Out of realization that I have no voice, and I certainly have no representation, I now make it a point to personally attend each meeting; stand up when called; and (nervously) present the council with my words that fit into the 3-minute Public Comments format afforded citizens. This public, government entity fails to grasp that it is not in compliance with our Constitution, and must somehow be reproached. The lone, individual citizen, grassroots approach is the only way I know.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sandi Root
