GDL restricts young drivers with extra laws when driving; these include a curfew, as well as only being able to have one other person in the car with them. The law also mandates that GDL drivers need red stickers on their license plates, doing this makes it visible to people who would want to hurt in some way these young drivers. This has also made me not able to fulfill tasks such as driving family members to the airport to see family.

Currently the decision to require postage on absentee (vote by mail) ballots is delegated to the states, and in some states it has been further delegated to the counties. Therefore in some states (Hawaii, Iowa and Missouri - if I am correct), absentee (vote by mail) ballot postage is pre-paid, while in some states (California and Florida) it varies by county, and in other states (Oregon) postage is required to be affixed by the voter. The varying postage requirements are needlessly confusing and do not serve to further democracy. At a relatively small cost, abolition of paid postage on absentee (vote by mail) ballots will work to ensure equity among citizens and further strengthen democracy in the United States.

I, like many have parent's who are elderly and would like to be able to take care of them. I have a family of my own to take care of and have no room to care for a aging parent alone. Also they have worked hard all their lives and look forward to retirement only to be given very little of an amount as it is to live off of. In my opinion i believe, in these final years they should not continue to have to have the same stresses as earlier in life. They deserve much more!

I think it ridiculous that I must sign petitions if I don't want "so and so" removing mountaintops, drilling in the Arctic or if I want protection for a certain species or region... etc. This system is backwards! For example, Big Oil should be required to submit millions of signatures of people saying, "Go ahead- drill in Alaska, pollute waterways, destroy the polar bears' natural habitat."

Recently, Piers Morgan drew the wrath of the American gun lobby. During an interview of Larry Pratt, director of Gun Owners of America, Morgan told Mr. Pratt that he was "a dangerous man". Mr. Pratt had just explained to Piers Morgan that the solution to gun violence in America is more guns. Mr. Morgan He went further by informing Mr. Pratt: "You're a very stupid man, aren't you? "You have absolutely no coherent argument. You don't actually give a damn about the gun murder rate in America." Because he said these things, the gun lobby wants him deported. Because he is the only public person in the United States with the courage to stand up to the gun lobby, we think he should receive the Nation's highest Civilian Honor.

Since our country has experienced elections in which the victorious candidate has lost the popular vote and yet won the Electoral College, it seems that the voice of the majority of Americans is not heard. Most recently, in 2000, Vice Priesident Albert Gore was denied the presidency in such a manner. Few would disagree that our country would be far better had he been elected. The Electoral College seems to favor the least populous (red) states, and it is time to show the world that we are a true democracy by simply doing away with this antiquated system. . 801669162693

Growing up in the 1990s, I was an over-acheiver - same as hundreds of thousands of other Americans who worked hard to attain an advanced degree. I took out federal loans without batting an eyelash because there was no other way to pay for my public university education. Now, more than a decade after earning my BA, I am saddled with crushing student loan debt. As 30-somethings, we can stimulate the economy if our debt was eliminated or lessened. We could buy houses, have weddings, go on vacation, make investments, start businesses, and have children. Right now, we are drowning in a sea of endless payments that make those dreams hard to reach.

I have a son with autism and the kids are sick and this do not work for them all it do is make them upset and hurt them.
