    Enact a national policy to equip schools with non-lethal defensive measures, like Tasers or Taser like defenses. Such defenses are quick to deploy, low cost compared to other solutions, can remain in place as a fallback plan and will ensure students and staff are not accidentally injured or killed, as well as ensuring assailants survive to face justice.

  • Abolish the policy that elected Washington officials retire at full pay with medical coverage.
    This effects everybody. We pay for their retirement benefits while we live on $1000-1600 when we retire. This bill was passed without our knowledge. No company, organization, or agency in the world has benefits like that, because no employer would permit it. WE THE PEOPLE are the employers of these elected officlals! Yet none of us got a say in this! We didn't vote for it; we didn't approve it. Let's end it!

  • Don't Weaken Social Security
    There are reports in the press suggesting that President Obama may be willing to reduce future cost of living adjustments for Social Security recipients as part of a "fiscal cliff" deal. The fact of the matter is that even the present basis for calculating adjustments does not keep up with inflation because of the disproportionate contribution of health care costs to their total expenditures. Reducing future adjustments would only make things worse.
