Leaf blowers are widely considered one of the worst, most obnoxious inventions of all time. They are noisy, polluting, create toxic dust storms and contribute to CO2 buildup in the atmosphere. Their costs far outweigh their benefits and we can easily live without them.

We have been held hostage by lifelong politicians who no longer serve the community and their constituents. It is time to add language to our laws that will limit term limits for all politicians. If two terms is long enough for the President, it is long enough for the Senate and House.

Cuts or reductions in Social Security benefits or benefit cost of living increases will have a negative effect on my ability to pay the rising costs of food, gas, and about everything else.

Cutting the income of Social Security beneficiaries and increasing the cost of medical services to the same beneficiaries puts our most vunerable citizens at risk. I have been affected because I now have to live with one of my adult children instead of living on my own. How can you justify cutting taxes for people who are in the top 2% income when your poorest are barely surviving?

These comprehensive and cost-effective programs not only save lives, they also save money. In fact, VAWA saved nearly $12.6 billion in net averted social costs in just its first six years.

Presently, Payroll contributions to Social Security is capped at 110k income annually.This makes no sense. All income levels should contribute, with a percentage of these additional funds earmaked for Medicare and Medicaid.
