All over Metro Detroit people are left to fend for themselves, and struggle to find transportation. We need to create a transit system for all, and realize that this will spur economic growth, help the environment, bring more people to the area, and more.

Many of us took out hefty loans and made many privately owned schools rich. Now we can't find jobs and still have to pay student loans. Almost every graduate student leaves school with loans over $200K. Our lives are shattered by the weight of these loans.

The leagalazation of medical marijuana

Medical coverage for all. I have a medical condition and unable to get medicaid because they said I am not disabled. I have no medical coverage because I work part time. I need help now!

Tennesseans, we know that investing in our children and education, including arts education and access, and infrastructure, including public transportation, are key to rebuilding Tennessee's as well as the United States' economy. Let's start right at home and make tomorrow brighter for everyone--not just a few of us.

Consistency should be an American quality in the voting process. Instead, in many states voters are disenfranchised, the voting process is confusing/vague and votes are not counted expeditiously or efficiently. Our Congress works less for the ordinary citizen, and more for what they can get. Has anyone noticed that they enter politics as average citizens and leave rich. Something is wrong with that.

Individuals with felonies should be given the opportunity to serve their countries in exchange for clearing it off there records. There are so many individual that have paid the price for their crime, but find that their criminal record makes it diffulcult to gain employment.

We nearly lost our farm in the 80's due to rising interest rates. I'd hate to see predatory lending affect my kids and grandkids.

My son's wife was killed in Fulton County by her 18 year old son. That night he admitted to setting her up, taking three days to plan the homicide, and then killing her. It has been a failure of the judicial system and a failure of the Fulton Counties District of Attorney's Office to fulfill their duties. What this leaves is the people around this case to not be able to have some type of closure. The homicide was committed in June 2009, so 3.5 years later we still do not have a court date. This is unacceptable. Our judicial system needs changed to help the victims and families of victims get a timely resolution and to put closure to the event.

GMO's (genetically modified organisms) are in a wide variety of foods regulary consumed by the public. Although GMO's are believed to be extremely dangerous to your health, there currently is no law in NY state or any other state prohibiting them, or even requiring foods containing GMO's to at least be labelled as such. In order to safeguard the health of our families, it is imperative that we have a label law requiring all foods containing GMO's to be labelled as such.
