The reason we have Veterans Day is to honor those who have served. So, why in the world don't we honor them by encouraging businesses to give them the day off of work? Government employees, many who have never served, are allowed to stay home while millions of veterans have to go to work.

Pain is a major driver for visits to physicians, a major reason for taking medications, a major cause of disability, and a key factor in quality of life and productivity. Given the burden of pain in human lives, dollars, and social consequences, relieving pain should be a national priority. All signatures and comments will be presented to media sources and legislators to help give this agenda the urgent attention it so desperately needs.

Due to Congress's willingness to resrict what is avialable to the citizens, I belive that the Constitution should be amended to restrict all legislation approved by Congress, to apply to the members of the Senate and House of Representatives equally. There shall be no pension except as pro rata over the 50 years of possible tenure, and be no better than what is available to the average government employee. Health insurance shall be no better than is available to the poorest of constituants.

For the past four years the Republicans have had one agenda, to prevent President Obama from being re-elected. As a result, nothing was accomplished. The economy was literally damaged due to their nonpartisanship. They let the credit rating of the USA go down just to further their agenda. Estimates for 2012 presidential campaign spending is approximately $2.2 billion dollars and $6 billion for all campaign spending. With US and international hunger problems, challenges for funding for education, infrastructure problems, national debt and increasing poverty to name a few issues, it is reasonable to limit spending for any election.

Given the constant voting disasters, attempts at voter suppression, procedures and equipment problems, neither states nor political parties should be responsible for Presidential elections.

After Montana legalized medical marijuana, Chris Williams started a marijuana growing operation. Despite the Obama Justice Department's assurances that it would not prosecute people for growing marijuana within the limits of state law, Mr. Williams was raided by federal officers and arrested; during his trial, he was prohibited from using the fact that he was following state law as a defense. While Jerry Sandusky got a 30-year minimum sentence for raping young boys, Mr. Williams is looking at a mandatory minimum of more than 80 years for marijuana charges and for possessing firearms during a drug-trafficking offense. This Petition is to address the flaws in the Amber Law. (1) There may be a failure to act because of age or lack of suspect. (2) Not every missing child is assumed at risk of danger or death. Because of these two criteria currently in effect, Alicia Moore's killer had time to murder her. America, We must stand together and fight for "THE ALICIA AMENDMENT to the Amber Law"!
