• Pay Fairness Act
A Petition to pass a Pay Fairness Act to the U.S. Constitution. The act would simply be a formula to help guarantee a living wage. The act would state that the Highest paid person in a Company only could make a maximum of so many times what the lowest paid person in a company is paid. Similar to current laws in Germany.

  • Let us use LSV 's in town limits.
Low Speed Vehicles can only be used on 35 MPH or less roads. If all the town roads that are 40 MPH , there are very few, were changed to 35MPH we would be able to shop locally and do all our town errands using a G,E.M. electric car. Nation wide we would save a lot of gasoline . I would be able to save hundreds of dollars every month and get rid of one car .

  • Election Day
Poll workers are one of the most important positions undertaken by citizens across this country during elections. For a number of reasons,a very limited number of individuals are able to take time off from their jobs to undertake these duties. As a result, these positions are severely undermanned on election day. Working the polls is as important as serving on a jury.

Change is needed to abolish the Electoral College so that we have a popular vote and states that do have a higher population can have fair representation in voting.U.S. Electoral College is the body of elected officials who actually vote for the president of the United States.

  • Boycott Political Ads
Since the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Citizens United, vast sums of money are being poured into election campaigns, particularly the presidential one. Most of these funds are supposedly used to purchase political advertising, particularly television spots. Passing a constitutional amendment to remove big money from politics will take many years, even if proponents are successful. However, voters can choose to boycott all political advertising, publicly acknowledge their stance and encourage others to do the same. This petition is actually a statement by individual voters that they will use the mute button on their television remotes whenever a political advertisement appears on their screens and refuse to consume printed and radio commercials as well. If this "boycott" eventually attracts the public attention of even a small percentage of voters, the effect of campaign contributions should be substantially reduced as media outlets, politicians, and corporations react to this citizen action.
