Empower the Federal Communications Commission [FCC] to enforce truth in political advertising. The FCC must set severe monetary penalties for any politician, PAC or Super PAC making false statements, lies, or half-truths in ads. Fines are to be levied against broadcasters that fail their due diligence to fact check ads before being aired on radio and television.

GMO foods have slowly been intergrated into our everyday food sources, leaving the public completely unaware. Now, there is a movement to push them more directly into our stores WITHOUT labeling! GMOs are one of the leading causes, if not the main cause of most major diseases and disorders affecting children and adults worldwide. Autism, ADD/ADHD, Neurological disorders and birth defects are just a few of the disorders directly associated with GMOs. Recently, Wal-Mart has agreed to put non-labeled GMO corn in their stores to sell directly to the consumer, creating yet another long list of problems. They are refusing to make the consumer aware of exactly what it is they are purchasing and consuming. Monsanto, the producer of these GMO seeds and other toxic chemicals being used to spray our foods refuses to accept any accountability. Monsanto Director of Corporate Communications Phil Angel said, ”Monsanto should not have to vouch for the safety of biotech food. Our interest is in selling as much of it as possible. Assuring its safety is the FDA’s job." (According to a report from the New York Times) GMOs are not only destroying those that plant it and those that consume it, but they are also destroying the land and animals. Many states are rallying against this non-labeling, but in order to have true success, we all must band together and stop this mass murder through food and take back our power from Monsanto and other big corporations in making decisions for us.

When millionairs and billionairs pay a smaller tax rate than orinary Americans, something is wrong! We have a graduated tax rate for income, why not for capitol gains? We ought to tax the first $1000 or $2000 or $5000 in capitol gains at 0% and have it rise to 35% quickly. Warren Buffet supports this idea, me thinks.

During these times of hi unemployment, the Senate on behalf of rich gluttonous corporations, is considering a bill, the (STAR) Act, introduced by Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas), that would significantly increase the number of work visas issued to cheap foreign Engineers brought into the US. Statistics of the cited deficiency of skilled domestic engineers have been manipulated by technology corporations. Multinationals like Intel, Texas Instruments and others have enlisted the services of hoards of off shore India based tele-recruiters on fixed price supplier contracts to offer engineering jobs that do not exist while permitting them to accumulate statistics on fictitious job vacancies. Passage of this bill will result in increased competition for fewer jobs, even higher unemployment in Engineering for Americans and further depress already abysmally eroded incomes in the field. As an Electronic Engineer myself, I can personally attest to the arduous employment challenges faced by many including myself during the past twelve years, in our once respected profession of choice. This is an affront to the American people and must be stopped.

Radio shows that spew hate, bigotry, misogyny, are truly anti-American. They should not be advertised on, or broadcast on Armed Forces Radio. Our young soldiers should not be exposed to that vileness. By broadcasting shows like Rush Limbaugh on our Armed Forces Radio, there is an implied "stamp of approval" for the content, which is the wrong message to send to impressionable young minds. With a reported 19,000 sexual assaults last year in our armed forces, we must do all we can to eliminate the causes of this violent epidemic. Ban this poison from our public airwaves.

Many primary care providers depend on psychologists to recommend a psychotropic drug. Retrained psychologists need to be allowed to write prescriptions .
