We have a lot of flat roofed buildings covered in tar shingles or metal. This petition is about telling the school systems that they cannot mandate that our children use Ritalin or other drugs as a condition of attendance. This is an unfair and dangerous policy that damages childrens self confidence and important developmental attributes.

I work like for those who are disabled to be able to work a part- time job to first be able to pay back into the system in which supplies there income. its like working to pay back what is being given to you. Then you can also have extra money so that you won't be , struggle to make ends meet . This would also allow you to have a since of purpose in life . There are no programs in Ohio that do that. On disability if you work for a long of they review the case and take you off disabiltytime

Churches have power over their members, and can be a significant force in an election. It is clear, for example, that some churches pressure their members to vote for a given candidate based on her/his alignment with their particular teaching. However, the involvement of any tax-exempt organization in the political process is strictly forbidden by the IRS: "...it may not participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates."

Maine's decision to sue to drop people from Medicaid puts us on the front line in the battle for basic healthcare coverage for those of us who can't afford healthcare on our own. I have a family member that will be directly affected by Maine's attempt to drop people from Medicaid. She will not be able to afford her anti-seizure medication on her own leaving her very vulnerable life threatening grand mal seizures. This is an issue that might have consequences for the whole country while we fight to get everyone affordable healthcare. So lets show our elected officials that we do have a voice and will not be manipulated into giving up what the whole country has fought so hard to secure.

Paul Ryan was in Janesville, Wisconsin for Labor Day, his hometown in his home district. People who approached him to ask questions were treated with condescension, flippancy and rudeness. Their questions were about jobs and the economy. Mr. Ryan's views are more relevant than ever as a candidate for Vice President and in a community that has lost a GM plant. I live in Janesville.

Rep. Steve King recently came under fire for comparing immigrants to dogs, saying he hadn't heard of instances in which young victims of rape became pregnant, and supporting dog fights. But at a recent campaign event in Iowa, Mitt Romney endorsed Steve King, saying, "I'm looking here at Steve King, he needs to be your Congressman again. I want him as my partner in Washington." Rep. Steve King has a long history of attacking immigrants, women, and anyone who disagrees with his extremist views. Mitt Romney should be ashamed to call Rep. Steve King a "partner." This is no way to lead a country.
