• Veterans benefits for ALL veterans
I am a US Army veteran. I was hurt while in basic combat training. Because I enlisted as a Reservist, I do not qualify for ANY benefits. I propose that ANY and ALL veterans of the US Military who served any time regardless of enlistment status, reserve, national guard, or active, should qualify for veterans benefits, especially in the case of becoming injured while in training.

  • VOTER MARCH
States that are using voter suppression should be held accountable. I say we need to march at the steps of each state's state house and protest this blatant racism. I'm not affected directly, but as a minority I am offended by this and it's time to do something. If they are trying to set us back then we need to do what our ancestors did, sit-ins, marches, and protest!! We need to do it now before November 6th!!!

  • Hawaii the Sun Run State
Solar Run Homes, Auto & Solar Fueling Stations for Hawaii. We have a great resource called sunshine. Let's promote what we have the most of and stop the needless waste and destruction of our natural beauty which we all depend on for the tourist based economy on this small island chain. Our scenic beauty is what we have going for us and yet it is still being laid to waist needlessly with plans for more resorts that will require more power to operate and plans for more power plants to help HELCO, our electric company supply the ever increasing demands. There are already grants available for public solar systems and low interest rates for electric cars. Lets get this into the mainstream and make it really a way of life. A new Sun Powered life.

  • Support expanded early voting in Franklin County
Ohio Secretary of State John Husted is considering limiting early voting throughout Ohio to weekdays between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm. Such a move would disproportionately affect minority and working voters. Please help call upon the Franklin County Board of Elections to support extended early voting hours throughout Ohio.

  • Equal rights for voters
For months, Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has personally acted to restrict early voting in counties with large Democratic populations—casting tie-breaking votes to limit voting to weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in urban areas like Franklin County, where in previous elections 82% of early voters did so on nights or weekends. Now, Secretary of State Husted said he is considering limiting early voting hours across the state in the run-up to the November election, and will "be listening to local boards of elections' concerns on this issue." We need to let local Boards of Elections across Ohio know that Ohioans support giving all registered voters equal opportunity to exercise their right to vote.

  • Neither my Kansas values, nor vote, are for sale
Governor Brownback has sent a clear message to moderate Republicans. His party is different. It is no longer the party of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, Senator Bob Dole and Governor Bill Graves. This party believes in the Austrian School of Economics and the Libertarian Party's Koch's Free Economy. They are anti-public school, anti-worker, anti-woman, and anti-middle class. Every issue I advocated for, Sen. Brownback replied by letter stating he was too worried if my solution did not work. I, too, am worried. Worried about parents sending their children to school, worried about job creation, worried about women with no control of their body and worried about taxes and your adviser, Arthur Leffer.

  • The U.S. House of Representatives: Demand that Representative Joe Walsh resign as Congressman of IL
As a young Muslim American and life long Illinoisian, I am appauled at the comments Representative Joe Walsh has made concerning Muslims living in Illinois. I am deeply concerned that his Islamophic message is inciting violence against the Muslim Community in Illinois. Representative Joe Walsh has made a commitment to protect the people of the 8th District, his comments however incite violence and hate towards Muslims and it is shameful that he is an elected official in this great state!

  • Uniform Voting in Ohio
Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has personally acted to restrict early voting in counties with large Democratic populations—casting tie-breaking votes to limit voting to weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in urban areas like Franklin County, where in previous elections 82% of early voters did so on nights or weekends. As a Hamilton County resident, I feel that we need to let the Hamilton County Boards of Elections know that Ohioans support giving all registered voters equal opportunity to exercise their right to vote. So, as a resident in Hamilton County I am starting a petition calling on the Hamilton County Board of Elections to publicly support uniform, expanded early voting hours across Ohio.

  • Warren County Board of Elections
I hope to inform the Warren County Board of Elections that many Ohioans support giving equal opportunity to exercise the right to vote. It disillusions me personally to even suspect that anyone who lives in an urban area in Ohio is denied a voice in the election process.
