Excessive influence of the Military Industrial Complex over our government has caused increased debt and countless deaths among our military personnel and innocent civilians

I hope to inform the Warren County Board of Elections that many Ohioans support giving equal opportunity to exercise the right to vote. It disillusions me personally to even suspect that anyone who lives in an urban area here in Warren County is denied a voice in the election process.

Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted (R) has limited access to early voting in Ohio counties with large Democratic populations. Now he wants to restrict early voting across the state. He will contact local boards of elections for feedback regarding this idea. This is your opportunity to tell the Clermont County Board of Elections that you support uniform, expanded early voting hours across Ohio.

I want to see early voting, and voting rights in general, expanded in a manner that benefits all the citizens of Lucas County and Ohio.

Amendment to the constitution specifying that freedom of speech is, and should be recognized as being a factor of our ability to have our voice heard. Therefore, wealthy individuals or corporations are infringing upon our freedom of speech by overwhelming it. The amendment would limit individuals total contributions to $100. It would limit the length of campaigns to 6 weeks. It would stipulate specific number of signatures to get on ballot. And, most importantly, it would stipulate that all news media provide specific amount of free campaign coverage.

To encourage the Board of Selectmen to support a major upgrade of our town's pool facilities at Mills Pond, specifically the replacement of our 50-meter pool. Given the current low interest rate environment, we have a unique opportunity to affordably finance important quality of life projects that will benefit our community for future generations.

The Ohio Secretary of State John Husted has personally acted to restrict early voting areas in traditionally "blue" or democratic leaning counties, while he has simultaneuously EXTENDED early voting hours in "traditionally red" or republican leaning counties. This double standard CANNOT stand.

I have never experienced voter suppression in my 53 years of voting because I reside in New York state but what I read and hear in the news is appalling that people are being denied their right to vote

The 2012 general election is the first in history in which several key swing states--Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida--have put in place severe voter restrictions that could have a profound impact on the election. The restrictions relate to both IDs and early voting. In Ohio, early voting remains available in Republican districts but has been eliminated in Democratic districts in an obvious attempt to affect the outcome of the election. Even worse, the Pennsylvania House Majority Leader has admitted that their new voter ID restrictions will guarantee Governor Romney is elected, and most recently a judge refused to grant an injunction to stop that law. Let Congress and the Attorney General know that you object to the severe restrictions on and suppression of voting rights allowed by the laws in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida. Make your voice heard!

Secretary of State Husted said he is considering limiting early voting hours across the state in the run-up to the November election, and he will "be listening to local boards of elections' concerns on this issue." We need to let local Boards of Elections across Ohio know that Ohioans support giving all registered voters equal opportunity to exercise their right to vote.
