  • Petition to Dewine to reopen Massage Establishments
This is important because not only is this our income but we have clients that are needing these appointments. Clients can seek to see chiropractors (helps skeletal system) and physical therapist but that doesnt always help. Massage is a big influence on aiding help to people's health both physically and mentally. It is also an issue for some massage therapist because for those being independent this is our source of income. We haven't had the chance to apply for unemployment since it is not available for us to apply. Getting us back up and running will be beneficial to ourselves as well as our clients. Please join myself /other massage therapist to be able to get back to work and help our clients.

  • Pet Groomers are essential
Pets are considered family members to their pet owners and getting groomed is essential to their health and wellness. Grooming salons have sanitary protocols in place to keep owner and pet safe. important? Small businesses MATTER and some of those small businesses shut down are groomers (Mobile , storefront & homebased ) . Pet grooming is essential We believe that providing grooming services is essential to health and wellness of pets. Without proper and routine grooming care and hygiene which includes everything from bathing to nail clipping, gland expression, teeth brushing, ear cleaning and more pets can be at risk for a number of negative health impacts including skin and coat issues and infections, injuries from overgrown nails, and dental health issues, to name a few. Many pet parents are not capable nor properly equipped to groom their pets at home in the grooming services pet groomers provide whether storefront to mobile are not at all equivalent to human haircuts or salon service. Grooming businesses are more than capable of taking all steps necessary to insure the safety of the public’s health.
