Under the Citizens United Ruling corporations were granted personhood. With personhood also comes the responsibility of taxation as a person for the greater good of society.

How can a citizen be expected to live under the burden of laws that are so lengthy that they cannot be read? How can a legislator represent us properly he or she cannot even bother to read a law of the land and any new bills that are being considered? Many bills now are printed just prior to a vote and have hundreds of pages appended to ram special interest pork items to tag along with an idea that has merit. The opportunity exists for the text to change as it is added to the federal register. Lawmakers who participate in this activity are not properly representing the interest of the citizens. I might go so far to suggest that this activity of voting on unread bills is an act of treason.

Corporate responsibility in all arenas equally

Lawyers making Laws only Lawyers can interpret is a "conflict of interest" and violates our Constitution. According to the American Bar Association, Lawyers must recuse themselves from cases with a "conflict of interest". Lawyers as officers of the Judiciary are Constitutionally forbidden from service in the Executive or Legislative branch of government.

Congress is in the process of protecting us from ourselves again. They and the president want to protect us from internet pharmacies so they are creating laws to block internet pharmacies from the American people. These pharmacies are saving many Americans thousands of dollars a year. For me I save up to 95 percent of the cost of just one pharmaceutical.

Petition to end term limits in Congress

After the dismal job Congress has done for the last 11 years, a Contempt For Congress is very necessary.

The title is demeaning to the presidents position for affordable healthcare. This is a long standing position that began with the first Congress, to provide health care to the indigenous people of this land. It is a long awaited promise being fulfilled

Austerity measures being pushed by Republicans and many Democrats in Congress are designed to kill jobs and punish the poor and middle class who have already been the ones to suffer under this recession. Austerity measures taken in Europe are proving that their economies are declining instead of thriving -- we should learn from them. Growing economies means growing jobs which means job creation bills.
