Declaration of Interdependence, 4 July 2012This is a revised (edited) version of the 1776 Declaration of Independence (http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/document/) that attempts to show similarities between the abuses of the present rule of corporate Kings to those of the British King George III at the time of American Independence. With the advent of the upcoming 4th of July many crises facing us today (Citizens United, etc.) are the result of overreaching corporate influence within our political process. The timing may make for a powerful statement—we once threw off the shackles of royalty; perhaps we should view events today in the same light.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Christopher Croft

Move-On should increase its numbersFriends--the critical thing your 7 million can do is, one at a time, person, find an "undecided" voter and change his/her mind. Money has its limits, but there is no limit to what one-to-one can eventually do.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John

Whose spending our money? All this talk of Obama spending obscures the fact that Congress taxes and Congress spends The President can not tax and he can spend only what is authorized by Congress. So if anyone is taxing and spending it is Congress, not the President!1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ed Lewis

The republicans have openly stated they will do everything in their power to make President Oboma a one term president. They scream follow the constituition but dol just the opposite. President Oboma has spent too much time kissing thier butts only to have the republicans OPENLY degrade and insult him and his family. It is time for the congress to work for WE THE PEOPL;E and stop becomming millionaires thanks to those who reward them financially for NOT DOING THEIR JOBS.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Regina C. U.S. Supreme Court: Block Anti-Immigrant Law from Taking EffectThe U.S. Supreme Court will shortly announce whether or not it will allow the State of Arizona's proposed discriminatory SB1070 bill to pass. The bill proposes that anyone suspected of being here without proper documentation can be stopped by police for this reason alone. Please sign this petition if you agree that the bill's passing would infringe on our rights and on our families.4,009 of 5,000 SignaturesCreated by B

Tell the Michigan Republicans to stop muzzling women who disagreeRecently, Republican members of the state legislature censured two Democratic female legislators and refused them the right to speak on the house floor. Their offense? Using the word "vagina." By refusing to let representatives Lisa Brown and Barb Byrum speak, Republicans have effectively denied thousands of Michigan citizens the right to a voice in government. This cynical, mean-spirited action erodes the very foundation of representative democracy. Join me in demanding an end to such undemocratic, and ultimately unpatriotic, actions and in demanding an apology to the women legislators and their constituents. Let the Republicans know that if they refuse to do so, we will seek further redress. Specifically, they have by their actions unquestionably violated their oath of office: to protect and defend the constitution.6,874 of 7,000 SignaturesCreated by Marc-David Freed

GROW UPA request that politicians stop playing Playground Politics and start seriously addressing the severe and urgent problems this country faces. Instead of squabbling like spiteful spoilt kids that are oblivious to the world out side of their precious sandbox it is time for politicians to grow up and start behaving like intelligent focussed adults that were elected to solve problems not to look for ways to create them. The American people deserve mature behavior from their elected party officials that are presently more content to indulge themselves in petty party sniping than they are working in a non partisan way to get this country out of the biggest hole it has ever been in.Right now they all might as well be terrorists doing everything in their power to destroy the future of this country by their reckless disregard for the economic hardships that normal hard working Americans are being exposed to. We are all suffering the consequences of their indifference and insufferable puerile antics. In short they just need to grow up, put partisan politics aside and start working toward a common workable solution that will put the country back on it's feet again.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Peter Stallard
