If Big corporations are being considered as people, then they need to pay taxes just like people do - at least 15%!

Congress is non functioning with an approval rating of 8%. The republicans have openly stated they will do everything in their power to make President Oboma a one term president. The U.S. Supreme Court will shortly announce whether or not it will allow the State of Arizona's proposed discriminatory SB1070 bill to pass. The bill proposes that anyone suspected of being here without proper documentation can be stopped by police for this reason alone. Recently, Republican members of the state legislature censured two Democratic female legislators and refused them the right to speak on the house floor. Their offense? Using the word "vagina." By refusing to let representatives Lisa Brown and Barb Byrum speak, Republicans have effectively denied thousands of Michigan citizens the right to a voice in government. This cynical, mean-spirited action erodes the very foundation of representative democracy. Join me in demanding an end to such undemocratic, and ultimately unpatriotic, actions and in demanding an apology to the women legislators and their constituents. Let the Republicans know that if they refuse to do so, we will seek further redress. Specifically, they have by their actions unquestionably violated their oath of office: to protect and defend the constitution.

A request that politicians stop playing Playground Politics and start seriously addressing the severe and urgent problems this country faces. The American people deserve mature behavior from their elected party officials that are presently more content to indulge themselves in petty party sniping than they are working in a non partisan way to get this country out of the biggest hole it has ever been in.Right now they all might as well be terrorists doing everything in their power to destroy the future of this country by their reckless disregard for the economic hardships that normal hard working Americans are being exposed to. In short they just need to grow up, put partisan politics aside and start working toward a common workable solution that will put the country back on it's feet again.
