  • Responsibility with Policing and Judiciary
Police shoot and injure civilians, and endanger whole communities with recklessness shooting and driving choosing to blame civilians when they make mistakes. The judiciary and prosecuting attorney improperly divide the word, overlooking evidence and the opportunity to throw out police claims in these instances making it possible for cities to slide by instead of honoring claims for wrongful shootings.

  • Repeal Act 13 - the Gas Fracking Law
Tell Rep. Marguerite Quinn, of the 143rd Assembly District, one of the architects of Act 13, passed in the PA state legislature that this cannot stand. Act 13 strips away our local zoning laws, enforces a "gag order" on our doctors, and allows drilling and open impoundment pits of fracking waste that threaten to pollute our ground, water and air for ourselves, our children and generations to come.

  • 25 Year Mandatory Minimum Sentencing
Mandatory Minimum Sentencing takes the balance out of our Justice System by putting the power of the charge and the sentencing into the Office of the Prosecutor. It does not take into consideration people who are intellectually or emotionally challenged, or people, including VETS, with PTSD or worse. It does not consider people with Autism, no matter at what level or functionality. It does not allow the Judge to consider any of the circumstances, but treats each case as a "one-size-fits-all" as if they are all the same. They also waste taxpayer dollars with a cost of $48,000 per person per year of incarceration.

  • Allow Belle Chevre to Serve Wine to Guests at New Alabama Creamery
Belle Chevre would like the flexibility of offering wine to guests from around the state and country while they are tasting and enjoying our cheeses at the new creamery in Elkmont. It is not our intention to open a bar or encourage anything other than safe and responsible tastings of wines with our internationally acclaimed cheeses. Wine and cheese have gone hand in hand for centuries. Fine cheeses like Belle Chevre’s award-winning line of chevres are no exception as they are often enjoyed with wines. Sign this petition today to urge the town of Elkmont, Alabama to go wet so tourists and locals can enjoy the tradition of pairing cheese and wine.

  • CRG -- Create Responsible Government
Clearly, Tea Party and Occupiers along with most independents despise the FORM our hateful parties-bound government has taken with continual 24/7 media obsession. We need a one six year Presidential term so he/she doesn't have to lop off a year to run again. Six year Senate term limited to three; four year House terms limited to three -- affording plenty of time to jockey for other offices and serve their corporate masters. Elections financed by the government. End the Senate 60% majority for passage with one-man-one-vote. This may be possible without a constitutional convention.

  • Thank President Obama for Obamacare
Two years ago, my mother, Rhonda, lost her job. Then she lost her health insurance. She needed major surgery, but was so worried about bankrupting our family with hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills that she waited. She waited until she couldn't hold off any longer without risking her life. The Affordable Care Act (aka, "Obamacare") came along just in time. It saved her life, and has already helped many more Americans get desperately needed health care. And it happened because we fought for it in Congress, online, on the phones, and in the streets. Now that the Supreme Court has upheld Obamacare and its protections, my mother--along with millions of other Americans—can feel confident that they’ll be able to get the care they need. And that makes me very thankful. Let’s join together in thanking President Obama for his work to pass Obamacare and protect the lives of millions of Americans.
