Police Officer Gildardo Sierra shot and killed my son, Flint Farmer, who was unarmed and lying on his stomach already shot and wounded. The officer was caught by a police car's dash cam video shooting my defenseless son in the back three more times. We need to put pressure on President Obama to go to Wisconsin, along with sending the Vice President to help his party on the ground in Wisconsin to secure this very important election, the removal of Governor Walker.The momentum that can be gained should not be lost due to a lack of effort at the national level. Now the time to come together.

President Obama is inviting Monsanto to oversee Africa’s food security. Monsanto's primary goal is not anybody’s food security but their own bottom line. Monsanto grabs millions of acres of land for monoculture plantations that destroy local biodiversity. Monsanto develops the terminator seeds that hold farmers hostage to the seed patent rights of corporations. Monsanto is the inventor of chemical fertilizers that worsen climate change and have threatened the health of millions of people around the globe. We need a constitutional amendment to ban U.S. manufacturers from making a profit on weapons of war. It is important to remove this incentive from weapons manufacturers to discourage them from hiring lobbyists that entice our representatives to perpetuate wars. Our young men and women's lives are sacrificed in the name of profits. Congress needs to rely on other means to resolve our differences with other countries.

Take a New York minute and make your NY voices heard on an important health care issue that impacts our ability to receive the most suitable treatments. Let your NYS Legislators know that Step Therapy/First Fail protocol delays patient access to medications, creates more obstacles for patients and physicians to overcome, denies continuity of care, and FAILS all of us.

Taxing SS payments just because a moderate amount was taken from an IRA is morally wrong and should be ended. If congress and the administration truly wants to make life easier for seniors and disabled, stop stealing from them.

America has never honestly or sincerely honored it's treaties with First Nations people. From the first to the most recent, they have been deceitful, duplicitous agreements designed to augment and obscure the theft of land and resources. They have all suffered in our collective name, and this is wrong- and can be addressed with more than "sorry".

Florida has been unconstitutionally changed form a" Right to Work" State, which PROHIBITS MANDATORY UNION MEMEBERSHIP, to that of a misquoted "AT WILL" State. .......Which means an employee can be fired or "let go " without any cause or warning ! Not legal, yet now a standard for employment in the public and private sector. It's time for a positive change to return the civil rights for working Men & Woman of Broward County of the Broward Clerks Office and private corporations !

This is a call to Florida Governor Rick Scott and Florida's State Legislature to propose legislation calling for Medicaid monies to follow the patients and NOT the patients following the monies,often times institutionalizing American Citizens to Long term nursing facilities and Assisted living facilities which is a clear violation of the American Disabilities Act.We would ask for monies to follow the patient allowing for home care in the community in a non institutionalized setting and programs to assist with the transition(Emergency rental assistance with Security deposits for Housing,Disabled rental assitance,Utility deposits and payments).Florida Needs to take care of its most vounerable citizens.
