The Citizens United ruling was NOT a matter of free speech as they asserted. It IS a matter of one-man-one-vote in a republican form of government. By allowing unlimited contributions by corporations they have essentially given them as many votes as they can afford. It is the equivalent of saying that votes can be had for every x number of dollars, or that only landowners can vote; a concept proposed and rejected by our founders. In addition, they have ignored the laws that prohibit political contributions by foreign interests because almost all publicly held companies have some stock owned by non citizens. Further, because there is no reporting requirement for contributors, foreign interests can make direct anonymous contributions to these Super PACs. Shouldn't it be a violation to let foreign interests decide who is going to be a US public servant? Corporations are NOT people; they are commercial and legal paper entities, and they have legal protections people do not. They do not have children who need good schools, they cannot get cancer from a polluted environment, they cannot lose their lives in wars of choice, they cannot be sent to prison or jail, and they do not benefit from a happy populace. Their sole interest is in monetary profit. When corporations enter political debates with vast expenditures and propaganda, they seek to further their own interest, not those of humans. Far too often their interests prevail at the expense of the public well being because of their immense wealth.

Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri is trying to tax stores such as Amazon and E-bay for sales over the Internet. He claims that small businesses will benefit if shoppers are taxed on their Internet purchases. He also claims that states (already running on tight budgets) will be able to cut taxes if they receive revenues from Internet sales. In short, he wants Internet shoppers to pay taxes by taxing the Internet stores. Isn't that contrary to the Republican philosophy of never increasing or adding new taxes?

Seems that we the US taxpayers send aide to China, who in turn is lending money to the state of Calif via the bridge projects in San Francisco area. The bridges are built in China, shipped here in Chinese ships and assembled by Chinese labor. this is wrong

I believe it is in the best interest of the American People to rewrite the job description of all our Government Officials from the white house to the general labor and then match those jobs with a appropriate pay or salary according to the job or position. When the American Peoples Taxes are paying an employee to do the job for the USA we also need to enforce that that those positions and or jobs descriptions are being carried out to met the American Peoples expectations after all thats why they have the job because we believe they can and will serve the American people. I am sure we could also cut out a few positions that are only costing The US and not a necessary position if it is not serving the American People.

All Fire Arm owners shall be required to take and pass a test proving their, 1) Ability to safely handle the class of Fire Arm they own. 2) Ability to prove they can safely store the class of Fire Arm they own. 3) Ability to pass a simple mental competency test. 4) Gun owners shall be required to carry insurance that compensates victims of gun foul play.

Robert Applebaum has started a conversation with his petition to call on Congress to enact Student Debt relief from the millions of us who have burdensome student loan debt. I believe that tuition fees for students that work hard to make it to college, then to be burdened with tuition fee debt later on, are a obstacle to progress and growth in this country.

Strax sounds like a good deal for cosmetic surgery? But they forgot to connect my vessels leaving me to almost bleed to death> But I signed a waiver so they have NO fault BUT I though the waiver meant if something happened to me that was just a medical mishap NOT a procedure that was NOT done right They need to pay the costs and pay for the suffering they do. Imagine they forgot to seal me?? Let my blood roll out of me> I am lucky to be alive And I lost time wages money and health.

The Occupy movement has identified the root causes of the problems facing our country. The 99 percent need the resources accumulated by the 1 percent to address these problems. We call upon the 1 percent to provide those resources to the 99 percent.

Eliminate Real Estate Taxes by increasing sales taxes on a revenue neutral basis. Average sales tax increase required would be 1.75% (est). No sales tax increases can be authorized without a statewide popular vote. Eliminate all county and state offices that are presently tasked with the appraisal or collection of these taxes.

To send to Congress a clear and unyeilding demand that US Service members receive the full extend (or same as) medical benefits that all other segments of civilian society enjoy. The removal of all teaching focused VA within the system and allow the veteran to opt out of such inexperienced care and have the VA provide a "private" health care policy if said facility only has training intern/fellows as replacement for seasoned medical professions with multi-years of experience instead of their first few years after college. Allow the Veterans to have a 3rd party independent complaint system outside the control of the Congress and VA itself so to isolate and pin point abuse within the VA Care system throughout the world.

Move them into your local credit unions, community banks - Until the country unites (the 99%) and moves out of the big banks, our voices will not be heard...
