Currently when Republicans are voted into Congress they sign an oath to not raise taxes. This seems contrary to the process of Congress where in our representatives collaborate with one another to pass legislation for the benefit of our country. How can a Senator or Representative promise to not raise taxes before he/she reviews the proposed bills?

On November 18, 2009, our son Faran Khan, was beaten and viciously stabbed with a tire iron by three men causing his death while playing at a park. Only “one” of the three men has even been charged with “any offense”. And the one charged was released after an ineffective prosecution.

When people are out of work and homeless, the money spent on campaigning makes me sick, I think all campaigns should give 10% of the funds collected to charities that feed the homeless. I would feel more motivated to give to the campaign if I knew 10% would go to help the homeless.
