The issue of unregulated campaign money would be greatly reduced if we outlawed the use of the media for political purposes

New legislators showing up in Congress are being pressured to sign Grover Norquist's Pledge not to raise taxes under any circumstances. This unrealistic pledge hobbles their ability to compromise, meet in the middle, and work with both sides of the aisle. Realistically, we cannot balance the budget merely by cutting spending; some taxes must be raised as well. Senators & Congress persons were elected to work for the people of their states, not for a lobbyist. I believe this pledge is a conflict of interest; so I'm calling on all legislators who signed Grover Norquist's pledge, a pledge to a lobbyist, to take back that pledge.

BioSolids, a term created by the waste management industry to disguise the negative connotations of "sewage," can be sold as fertilizer without listing ingredients. These products can even be described as "Natural." Many people remain in the dark about the potential threats to their health that BioSolid Products can produce. In the least, they should be aware that sewage is an ingredient in the fertilizer that they are using in their home garden.

President Obama point of view on same sex marriages shows the direction our sociaty is going. He said that his family is a christian one, but his way of thinking is showing that is not a reality in his own life. HOA are taking over the rights of Home Owners. Taking monthly payments, but realy does nothing for community? Putting leans on home owners property when they fall behind on payments and they can't park in front of their own home. Sign to Stop the this type of power of HOAs in our neighborhoods.

Just like Governor Scott Walker attacked collective bargaining rights of workers in Wisconsin, Governor Tom Corbett is bent on destroying public education in Pennsylvania. We need to take action now and STOP the right-wing campaign to dismantle public education by cutting school budgets and privatizing schools. It hurts our children now and it jeopardizes their future. It is also killing good jobs that our economy urgently needs. Many public school workers also are parents of school-age children. These families will get hit twice, with their kids losing access to decent public schools and parents losing jobs. There’s still a chance to save schools and jobs before budget talks end.
