• Equality Under the Law
It has long been the case that Congress is often exempt from laws they make to govern the country. This is patently unfair and must change. One glaring example is the fact that members of Congress and the Senate cannot be sued for Sexual Harassment. There are others as well and this must change.

  • Bring Scott Walker back to Congress to explain his contradictory testimony.
The citizens of Wisconsin deserve the truth from Governor Walker. His testimony in front of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform contradicted recorded statements that have come to light since his testimony. Was Act 10 a plan to attack unions developed immediately after Governor Walker's election, rather than a way to address a fiscal matter? Scott Walker should be called back to Congress to explain his answers to the Oversight Committee that don't match information that has recently come to light.

  • Recalls in Pennsylvania
There is currently no procedure in Pennsylvania by which elected officials may be recalled. The people of Pennsylvania need and deserve to have such recourse available to them.

  • Photo ID Volunteers
I would like to propose that an organization be formed to provide legal photo i.d.s for those in need. I, for one, would volunteer to take photos of people who want to exercise their Constitutional right to vote, and there must be many more who are willing to volunteer their time..

  • RELEASE MARISSA ALEXANDER - NOW!!!
Marissa Alexander is a 31 yr. old mother of three - a battered woman who only fired a warning shot at her attacker. This was in "Stand Your Ground" Florida...the same state George Zimmerman killed an unarmed teen and was initially allowed to walk, without charges. Marissa was not only denied that same right, and she didn't even KILL the guy. She successfully stopped the attack. And now she has been sentenced to 20 YEARS IN PRISON...an OUTRAGE.

  • I Don't Support the F-35 Lightning II
The U.S. has already spent $11.5 billion on the F-35 Lighting II, a multirole fighter jet. Over the 50-year lifespan of this program, it is estimated we will spend $1.5 trillion. It is estimated that we spent $1.030–$1.415 trillion on defense in 2011. This is senseless. The official website of the F-35 says they need our support and asks that we sign their petition. I ask that you do the opposite. Do not support this waste of money on another weapon.

  • Raise the Federal Minimum Wage for Tipped Employees!
The federal minimum wage for tipped employees has been frozen since 1991 at $2.13 thanks to the efforts of restaurant lobbyists. In 1991, tipped employee wages were 50% of the federal minimum wage of $4.25. $2.13 is just 30% of the federal minimum wage of $7.25. It's time that we raise the wage for the hard working Americans that run our nation's restaurants and bars!

  • Protect the Jobs of Parents with Special Needs Children
The jobs of parents with special needs children are not protected. Most parents with children with special needs find it hard to keep a job, due to having to miss time off of work to care for their children.

  • every elected official earning over 100k be it salery or pention pays thier own healthcare costs
Why should someone making over $100,000 a year need a taxpayer making $30,000 a year to pay for their healthcare? How about they pay their own way and each kick in a buck (a dollar) towards healthcare for some hard working, 40 hour plus a week person.
