I am sick and tired of the no work that congress has done in the past 4 years. Aren`t you???

  • Reinstate Glass Steigel
The latest financial loss at JP Morgan Chase clearly indicates that banks will not respect the restrictions of the Volker Rule. We had 50 years of safe banking when traditional lenders were separated from deal makers and trading firms. For the safety and integrity of the US financial system it is time to break up those "too big to fail."

  • Fannie Mae: Level the playing field; allow the middle class to buy foreclosed homes!
I'm outraged to learn Fannie Mae is holding on to foreclosed homes and made available only to rich investors. As an American tax payer that helps fund Fannie Mae with my hard earned money I should have the same opportunities to buy these homes and help reinvigorate our economy. Please, sign my petition to let our representatives demand Fannie Mae foreclosed homes made available to us individual taxpayers.

  • No African-American radio station in Harrisburg, Pa
Only black station in Harrisburg, Pa. closed due to alledged bad funding. African-American citizens of Harrisburg, Pa. have never been allowed to have an individualism from an artistic or musical standpoint. Why has this genre of music always been dangled as a carrot on a string in this metro area?

  • Eliminate Food Stamp abuse
There is rampant food stamp abuse in this country because our goverment employees who grant them do not verify income to the required extent. Every self-employed person I've ever met has the ability to make their income as close to zero with no scrutiny. Conversely, these same people, many of whom are renters, have to prove that they make enough income in order to obtain housing. Every person that applies for food stamps should have to provide their landlord's contact info so that a nexus can be made between the two incomes reported to the different entities. This may in fact provide a bit of extra work for the food stamp case workers and landlords, but I believe every taxpayer in America providing for themselves would support the extra effort. I would and I am a property manager who sees abuse of food stamps, section 8 assistance, bogus disability awards, and the list goes on.
