These two creditable progressive organizations which are constantly asking us for funds to support valuable causes, deposit our money in the Bank of America which works as hard as it can to defeat these same causes. When I asked why the response was"we have no control over the money". This makes no sense to me when there are dozens of other banks which are not so reactionary.

Asking state officials to sponsor and pass a bill banning the slaughter of horses for human consumption on the state level, here in Nevada. Eating horse flesh is not condoned in the Bible. Also, it has been an inhumane practice. There is not a humane way to slaughter a horse because of its nature. There are not controls to know if a horse has ingested toxic chemicals. It is not necessary and is greed driven.

Support a proposed US Constitutional amendment that would abolish corporate personhood that resulted from the 2010 Supreme Court decision on "free speech" for corporations, unions, and other incorporated groups that wanted to give endless amounts of money to campaigns. It's really perverse that corporations are now protected by the Bill of Rights.

Elected members of government should not be beholden to a contract that does not allow them to negotiate in good faith. There has always been, and always will be drastic differences between individuals and political parties on what, and how things can best be done. Regulation, law, and taxes require people coming together for the good of the people.

The petition is about the breaking of the monopoly of the corporate media so that the public can be informed. As of today the corporate media decides what you will hear and read and it is censoring the news plus it is a conservative media.

Political factors involving the outgoing mayor influenced the decision, which has been shown to be more expensive than alternative, hazardous to aircraft, and noxious to health.

We do not raise horses as a food source in this country. They are treated with vaccines, de-wormer's, and pain killers that make their meat toxic to humans. It says it right on the bottle next to the skull and crossbones. Because of the horse's instincts, a humane slaughter is impossible. Many are just stunned only to wake up while they are bleeding to death from having their throat cut. Over breeding, like puppy mills, has to stop. The responsibility of backyard breeders and national organizations like the AQHA is to curb the overpopulation created while they are looking for that one animal that will win them a $1.98 blue ribbon. Those that don't meet the grade are tossed out with the garbage. Please sign the petition to stop the slaughtering of horses here in Florida. There is a law on the books but it is not strong enough language to prevent slaughterhouses from being built and sanctioned by the USDA. We cannot allow this to happen in the Sunshine State. Let our government representatives know that this barbaric activity will not be allowed in our state.

The government should be for the people and run by the people in every aspect. To think that some big coorperation will be able to fund whomever they want without any bondaries is scarey. Sign the petition, lets send a message that we as American individuals will not stand for this.
