Stop Racial Profiling in the suburbs of Oak Lawn Illinois and Evergreen Park Illinois. Black people are targeted everyday in these communities and something has to be done to stop it. Racial Profiling of any type is wrong. Racial Profiling is no longer just a problem for African Americans but it has become a problem for other minorities as well. The purpose of this petition is keeping jobs in the US, and making a level playing field for the skilled laborers that reside here legally and illegally. Currently in Texas, an open shop state, things are not so great for many skilled workers. Halliburton, which recently was headquartered in Houston, moved to Dubai and also cut the hiring of American skilled labor. Does this company deserve tax-breaks? There are many other corporations who have used the same strategy. Headquartering in the US, but doing their business in other countries. Perry Homes, major home-building outfit in Houston, subcontracts labor to build arguably substandard homes. The majority of the workers are here illegally, making substandard wages without benefits or having the advantage of Social Security, or Medicare, even though they may be paying for it. These folks, even though I sympathize with their plight, are depressing the job market. If they were somehow able to work legally, they wouldn't be taken advantage of so easily and their wages and benefits would go up. Tax revenue would increase, the size of homes would decrease because of the per foot cost. Bad thing? I don't know. But those who hire illegals illegally to the detriment of legal American workers don't deserve any tax breaks.

Today we face many different health issues that are silent killer's. 30 years ago win I worked in the food industry anyone who worked around food had to have a health card.This card was issued by your Doctor after a blood test was done and it showed you had no illness. Today it is even more important that the employee's of a food establishment. be in good health. We need to know that who ever handles the food weather it be a restaurant, School lunch room, or employees at your local deli. They have a clean bill of health. Please help us stay healthy .This could save your life.

I would like to see the Federal Employment Retirement system amended to eliminate the Federal Basic Annuity portion of the Act for members of Congress and make the contribution that would have been payable to the Annuity, payable to the Social Security System.

Our Constitution, Article two section four, makes it clear: "Bribery, Treason, and other high crimes" by all civil officers from the President on down, are against the law. Yet, Bribery is practiced every day in the halls of Congress with impunity by so called lobbyists giving our civil officers money to pass a law that will serve the lobbyists' employers

Doctors and medical institutions should not have to wait long periods of time for pay from Insurance companies. Insurance companies engaged to supplement medicare have a captured audience of clients and they often delay payment for services for close to a year causing credit issues, etc. I am sure that the insurance companies don't sit on these large sums of money and don't invest it to get huge financial returns.

TV news is the way that millions of people receive the news. The fact that the news is for-profit causes a conflict with presenting honest news stories. I am calling on Congress to present a law banning for-profit news on television.

Taking the money out of politics would take the influence of corporations and billionares out of our government. The corruption in Congress is all caused by political campaign contributions that buy influence and congressional votes. This is not the way the founding fathers wanted it to be and the majority of the people.
