Outsourced must now duplicate in USAAll Companies that have outsourced need to sell their product in the country of production, not in the USA. They should have an admendment to all trade bills to incorporate this rule. We buy from onlly USA based companies, not from one's like HP in China. If this is done many or at least 70% of those displaced would be able to get a job. We buy from them only. If they need investment then the 1% should prove what is always claimed, which is they have tax breaks and we can't seem to tax them so let's see them spend money16 of 100 SignaturesCreated by William A Cunningham

Don't sell our Ohio State UniversityOSU is currently receiving bids to lease the parking operation for the next 50 years for $375 million. The operation currently puts $1.7 million per year into the core, runs the bus service, traffic, etc., and is one of the best-run parts of OSU. The university would lose money long-term and enrich private individuals at taxpayer expense.2,732 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Gordon Aubrecht

Tasing can injure the unbornApparently law enforcement does not realize that tasing a pregnant woman can kill or severely injure a fetus. This information needs to be disseminated to police at all levels, and Congress needs to write legislation to assure that law enforcement does not tase women at all, because any woman of childbearing years may be pregnant, and it is highly unlikely that a woman could attack and injure a police officer. Further, the police got along without tasers for many years, and can, or should be able to handle a drunk or aggressive woman6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Shelton

Easy Housing FixHousing is all about the monthly payment, no matter if you call it rent, a lease, or mortgage. The higher the interest rate the higher the monthly payment. Investors jack up that rate. If the bonds from those rates were sold to homeowners, the pressure would be to lower interest rates. Homeowners would fund their fellow homeowners and get a modest retirement income at the same time.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Edd Abraham

Stop Congessmen and Senators Free RideCongressmen and senators receive taxpayer paid health and pension benefits. Since nearly all members of the two houses of congress are already millionares before they are elected to serve the people, they do not deserve taxpayer paid free health and pension benefits.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Michael J. Excessive Bonuses Cause ProblemsNot only are they unfair, but million dollar bonuses also lead to reckless investment risks, economic instability, insider trading and other types of fraud. Marginal tax rates over 90% were the norm for about 30 years when America was more fair, happy, stable and successful, and they would go a long way now to get us back to those conditions.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dennis Hannon

Food stamps - Use changes could be a way to healthier eatingWhen I look at the shopping carts of many people who are on food stamps, there is often so much unhealthy junk going home to feed their families. Obeisity, diabetes, heart problems and overall poor nutrition could be solved if there was a restriction on the what foods could be purchased with food stamps. With the exception of some staple items such as bread and pasta (whole wheat preferably) items should be limited to single ingredient foods: such as milk, eggs, meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, potatoes, whole grains. Yes, it may take some relearning in the cooking of more simple foods, but convenience foods with 15-20 or more mostly unpronouncable ingredients, artificial flavorings, food color and fillers are slowly killing our nation2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Karen F Daniels

Election of Supreme Court JusticesIn recent years the Supreme Court's decisions appear more and more political. This is not likely to change. Hence we need to change the Constitution as follows. A person would be appointed a justice for a 10 year term. After 10 years, if he/she wished to continue, they would have to stand for nationwide election on an up or down vote.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Daniel J. Sandman

Investigate Health Insurance CompaniesHealth Insurance Corporations are charging more and providing less to the insured. Each year people are noticing the loss of benefits, more restrictions, less medication coverage and "drive through" surgeries. Why accept this? Most people, especially the elderly are being held hostage by Health Insurance monopolies. We need to challenge them and investigate them!!7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by IMetro

Stop Real Estate taxes for retired elderly peopleI believe that the state of Virginia got the highest tax rates for the poor and retired elderly people. We all should be concerned especially if you have elderly parents, friends whom you care about, but can't afford to help them. Housing is important for the elderly; they shouldn't have to be placed in nursing homes, retirement homes because they can't afford the high cost of property and real estate taxes. They should be able to live out their days living in the home that they purchased and have the joy of living comfortably and being surrounded with their family and loved ones.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Linda Taylor
