My petition is about justice for Trayvon Martin

Its about the city trying to get a toll road between 152, highway 5 etc. Then on top of that charge the people a transportation tax. Plus we already pay taxes for road repairs etc. This is triple the taxes etc for citizens. There is unemployment, people losing their homes and the gas prices are sky high. How is this suppose to help the citizens of Los Banos and surrounding areas.

because it supports all our services, why stop it, and some of us who are retired could not afford the additional realesate taxes it would put on us

There are those of us who feel it is time to move forward. Time for a change in the way we think and take care of our state.

The Federal government must Strike down the Stand Your Ground Law that lead to the killing of Trayvon Martin.

Alll across America, local governments are struggling to pay for legislative mandates that have been imposed by the federal and state legislatures without providing for the funds to pay for these increased obligations. Towns and municipalities must comply, but property taxes were never intended to be a vehicle for funding the ever-increasing and costly municipal and educational mandates that are with us now. In Massachusetts, Proposition 2 1/2 means that mandates will eventually swallow up entire budgets unless the town votes for an operational override. Towns are not able to manage their own budgets and they have lost their fiscal autonomy and authority.

THE KILLINGS, Beatings, Unjust arrest also planting evidence & lies at trials must also hiding evidence ... along with tampering with evidence has all run rampant... something must be done to Stop this type of power police abuse over and over again ...do something Stop the mistreatment of the African Bloods world wide of our Race!

Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer in America. The leading cause? Poor diet. Signing this petition will not only change a major issue with our health care, but it will SAVE LIVES! The challenge is to design a utility (or improve upon an existing utility) that would make the city/ town/ neighborhood a better place. Our solution is to reduce the cost of utilities by using renewable energy to power the street lights. Our environment continues to be trashed daily by people who don't know or don't care about the damage their littering and improper disposal of waste from their consumption is causing. I am therefore proposing some incentives that hopefully will make a difference before we completely destroy our planet and all the creatures that depend on it as a clean place to live.

The criminal justice system everywhere including Maryland is bent on continual judgement and punishment of previous behaviors including barriers to employment, housing, and education. This continaul system of unfairness leads to more criminal activity especially for sex offenders, murders, assualts of all kinds, and handgun issues. This has a detrimental affect on people primary of color, underserved, and uneducated. This has to be addressed.
