    Serving one client at a time poses a lesser (or no) risk of spreading the virus, as compared to grocery stores being filled with 10+ people inside of one grocery store and 10+ people at a restaurant placing take out orders. Also Beauty Professionals rely on their income from their clients. We are having great financial hardships as we not only need income but we also have to pay taxes differently and supply our own insurance.

  • Soft opening of Hair salons in Nebraska
    Cosmetologists are self employed and will be taking a financial hit during this crisis. Allowing them to open up would ensure they are able to remain in business. There is less risk of the virus spreading in a salon with 5 people or less than in a grocery store. Most if not all salons already have sanitation practices in place that would ensure the virus doesn’t spread.
