Keeping Families Together...Where Possible I would like to start a non prophet organization for families who have dealt with and may still be dealing with the Child Protective Service system; who were not treated fairly; according to the system's own rules. We need to hold this system accountable; when their caseworkers take it upon themselves to rewrite the rules; allowing their personal feelings to decide their cases rather than professional ones. If questionable cases are re-opened, it will solve some of the adoption problems. I want to provide these families with the help they need when they don't know their rights. Hydrofracking around the watersheds of New York City and Syracuse have been banned by the governor and state legislature because of how it pollutes the water. The same consideration for the quality of life of the residents and tourists in the Finger Lakes should be legislated. The Finger Lakes are the source of water for municipalities, tens of thousands of individuals, farms, vineyards, recreation, and tourism.

Our Nations veterans are suffering and losing everything due to the illegal actions of the Department of Veterans Affairs with the claims process. Should they suffer all because they served for our Freedoms ? Washington feds the American public lies about how much is being done when if fact veterans are becoming homeless and committing suicide at alarming numbers.

Government reform will not happen on its own. You cannot expect those that are riding the gravy train to want to get off. It is time for our current representation in our government to effect real change for the people of our nation. They can either get on board with THE PEOPLE or get out.

The PEL (permissible elevated lead level) in children has dropped from 10 to five and we need to continue to push for zero! Thank you to the CDC! Our stock market is being manipulated by traders who run millions of trades a day on computers, which is why the market will not stabilize. This is profitable for them because a stet tax is no longer in place to make is a less profitable venture. We are asking Congress to bring back the stet tax in order to stop this backroom trading and manipulating, and bring back a market that is more reflective of real trades.

The second core value of Trinity is "Comprehensive Education." The Chemistry program is integral to the Biology program, the Pre-Medical program, the Pre-Physical Therapy program, the Athletic Training program, the Pre-Nursing program, the Biology Secondary-Ed program, and even the newly instituted Pre-Physican's Assistant program, so as a result, all of these programs will be affected. As an outreach to the Administration, we past and present Trinity community members want to express the importance of Chemistry and Biology in a comprehensive education. Furthermore, our main goal is to keep at least one full-time Chemistry faculty member on staff who can teach all the Chemistry classes that are required for all the programs listed above. Without this faculty member, all other science programs at TIU will diminish over time, as adjunct professors cannot replace the effort and time put in by full-time professors. To the Trinity Administration and Board of Regents, we say this: Please reconsider your decision to close the Chemistry Department, or at the very least, keep our full-time Chemistry faculty member so that the science program as a whole will not be fatally hurt.
