We need to fight against corruption in our government! I haven't talked to anyone, no matter their political beliefs, that doesn't think this is the root of most if not all of our problems. So i've come up with this short list of remedies to fight against the corruption that is crippling our great country. 1. Publically fund all campaigns local, state and national. 2. Cap the amount of money each candidate could spend proportionate to the office they are seeking. 3. Require all media as a condition of their license to operate in this country, to provide equal time to all qualified candidates and their views. 4. Outlaw the lobby system. Make receiving gifts or money etc. i.e. any compensation or promise of such an act of treason and punishable as such.

I believe that incredible damage was done to this country by the irresonsibility that was exhibited by Wall Street prior, during and after the crash of 2008 which nearly took down our entire country's economy. There has not been one person charged, not one grand jury convened and no justice for the many who have suffered the aftershocks of Wall Street Greed.

Tell President Obama and Congress it is time to take a stand for the environment, Jobs are important, especially if you are out of work, but this is the only planet we have. You can try to get another job if you lose one, but you can't get another planet. Come on people look to the future or we will not have one.

As our economy still flat-lines at ZERO jobs created, unemployment and underemployment continue to hold our country down and hold our families hostage. Meanwhile, the bickering in Congress has already begun about a plan THAT HAS NOT YET EVEN BEEN RELEASED. We're calling on Congress to support the President for the sake of our nation or understand that they will join the ranks of the unemployed.

The House is requiring that all funding for the James Webb Space Telescope, Hubble’s successor, be cut entirely. In other words, they are canceling the JWST program. This is a killer blow to U.S. astronomical research and education. JWST is central to NASA's mission and employs thousands of people world-wide. Support the reinstatement of funding for JWST!

Funding for the United Nations is threatened by the Republican led Congress. Legislation was introduced by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairwoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen that would erode America’s leadership at the United Nations, eliminate funding, and return the U.S. to a period when it failed to meet its global commitments

“Stop oyster farming in Drakes Estero and protect Point Reyes National Seashore.” Commercial oyster farming in Point Reyes National Seashore is permitted until 2012 when the permit expires. Drakes Estero is an area slated for Wilderness protection once this non-conforming use is eliminated. The Estero provides important harbor seal breeding grounds. Senator Feinstein has the chance to protect marine habitat by opposing the permit renewal. We are calling on her to support protection of our National Seashore against commercial uses.

Mass transit allows everyone access to everything. It can help eliminate most of the problems that are at the core of our cities and the nation. Mass transit can save families thousand of dollars. To prove this, just take a moment to add up the monthly costs of a car note, car insurance, gasoline and weigh those costs against the cost of a monthly bus pass.

We elect people to go into state and federal government to represent us and our interests. They don't! Too many of our elected representatives act in the interest of corporate America, whose self interest is international, We are finally holding our elected officials accountable. We are watching. It's them-- the corporations or us-- the people. Stand up for the American people or we will act at the polls! We have had enough!

AMR (automatic reading) "smart" electric, water and gas utility meters are a dangerous boondoggle. These meters are being forced on homes and buildings across the U.S. by utility companies. There is a flaw in the design of AMR meters which causes dangerous levels of pulsed microwave radiation to run through wiring and electrical equipment. This radiation is spewing throughout homes and neighborhoods. Although the utility companies would like us to believe that AMR meters are "green", this is not true. They were invented 20-30 years ago only to get rid of meter reader jobs and to save the utilities money. People across the U.S. are being injured by this unprecedented, untested and unregulated radiation. This must stop.

To parole inmates that has served at least 25 years of a life sentence. Most people that has served 25 years of a life sentence is at least 50 years and older. It cost the state more to house an inmate over 50 years of age due to health issues.
